The surroundings of this small, family business farm (vale Martinho) are fantastic: a vast, beautiful forest area which is embraced by two rivers, Dão and Mondego, two historic cities at an half an hour drive away, Viseu and Coimbra, and two of the largest mountains of Portugal, Serra da Estrela and Serra do Caramulo, are nearby.
