We've been planning this trip since we were in Manila and chose to stay in a tent to enjoy the sea breeze. While we understand that people are here to have a good time, it's now 11:30 PM, and loud music is still playing. We let it slide because this is a resort, and that's normal. However, 2:30 AM onwards is not acceptable. The loud music, lights, and shouting continued unabated. Our first attempt to report this to security was met with disappointment. Both security guards were sleeping – one in a hammock and the other in a golf cart. On our second attempt, we found both guards had moved to a dark corner of an open cottage to sleep. They did not patrol the area to ensure everything was safe. We no longer felt secure. At 5:00 AM, we reported the incident to the front desk. The receptionist was not empathetic or compassionate. The only thing she said was, "Where is the receipt so we can issue a refund?" The money was not the issue here. It's disheartening as we traveled all the way from Manila, seeing the potential of this place as the venue for our wedding. This experience has completely shattered that vision. We are deeply disappointed.
