Courtyard Virginia Beach Norfolk

The hotel itself wasn’t pleasant, housekeeping can’t keep up with the rooms. My rooms I requested at least every three to four days cleaning, but on my 1 week they didn’t even bother cleaning my room! I was told they don’t clean every day, I said I requested for 3-4 days at least but 1 week!!! I di t need everyday cleaning!! The first Marriot that I experience that I was told they don’t do every day cleaning, which I know every hotel is every other day. But to make excuses is not good. But the day they clean my room I met the lady who did the cleaning on my floor she was nice. Luckily their Bistro Cafè attendant was very helpful and friendly. Cathy was very attentive with her customers needs.
Hampton Inn Virginia Beach-Oceanfront South

The team at the front desk was very welcoming upon our arrival. Though obviously older, our room was nice and clean. The view was fabulous, as we had a full oceanfront view. Access to the beach was right outside the back door. The room has a refrigerator and microwave. Breakfast was decent and more than simple “continental style”. There were egg frittatas, home style breakfast potatoes, sausage patties and of course a make your own waffle station with lots of toppings, various breakfast pastries, cereal, yogurt, fruit cocktail, fresh fruit options and a few juice options as well. We were close to the pier and lots of shops, restaurants and bars. Currently, floors 6-10 are already renovated and they cost more; maybe worth it. It took some effort to get/keep our room as cool as we like it. Overall, I would stay here again.
Embassy Suites by Hilton Virginia Beach Oceanfront Resort

Check in was much faster than expected. Our room was ready at 1230 despite being sold out. This is the earliest we have ever gotten into our room in any Hilton in this city. The room was very clean and exactly as advertised. I really liked the inside and outdoor pool areas. Towels were provided at the pool which was great for us. Our room had a really great view even with not being on the oceanfront side. The evening reception was great each evening. I was also able to try room service. The room service menu was great for kids and adults. I ordered oyster Rockefeller, salad, and kids tenders and everything was fresh. The staff as a whole seemed happy to help with questions. Breakfast buffet was great but I recommend you arrive when it opens because there is a line every morning if you arrive in the first 20 minutes of opening. The breakfast buffet was great especially because of the omelette station that was included. The only issue I had was when I called on the first day to ask for fresh towels. I was told I was not allowed to request 5 towels because only three people were on my reservation. I argued with the representative who sternly refused to budge from having three additional towels brought to the room. He continuously told me I would have to call each day for more towels every day and I would always have a limit. I have traveled a lot and this was a first for me. Fortunately I spoke with heather the next morning who immediately gave me as many towels as I wanted and apologized. I really thought that this hotel exceeded what I thought I would get for their price. The only issue was parking. It seemed the garage gets full a lot so we ended up using valet. I recommend to plan for back up parking down the street. Over all I love this hotel.

I recently spent a week at this incredible property in Virginia Beach, and I can't say enough good things about it! The oceanfront rooms with private balconies were the highlight of my stay. Waking up to stunning views of the ocean and spotting dolphins early in the morning was simply magical. The staff here truly go above and beyond. The front desk and housekeeping teams were exceptional, ensuring I had an amazing stay from start to finish. Their warm hospitality made a big difference. If you're planning a trip to VA Beach, I highly recommend this hotel. And trust me, the views from the higher levels are absolutely breathtaking!
Fairfield Inn & Suites Virginia Beach/Norfolk Airport

This hotel was clean, and the front desk staff welcoming. Be advised that there are no suites at this hotel with 2 beds. The 2-Queen rooms are smaller than the standard 2 queen rooms at other hotels, and they do not include an unholstered chair or corner desk with desk chair. Instead, there's a nightstand sized bureau, a long table under the walled TV, a desk chair, and a backless cushioned stool chair. Maximum occupancy is 4. I had offered an overnight stay to my niece and sister who wanted an extra day in the area for the beach and was surprised to find upon check-in that there was no sofa bed in my 2 Queen room. We reviewed the Hotel's online photos which were very misleading, since none of the 2 bd rooms are suites or include a sofa bed. Be advised that the suites have 1 King bd and a sofa bed in a studio or separated configuration. The separated configuration only has an upholstered chair. Breakfast was adequate, clean and nicely labeled, and the free airport shuttle was great. I could have paid less at another hotel for more room and the room accommodations I received though.
Holiday Inn & Suites Virginia Beach - North Beach

My daughters favorite hotel on the beach - and the extra amenities for families allows me to work from the hotel if necessary - while my munchkin still has fun.. she loves the kids club even at 10 y/o and the private mini movie theater because she can go ”by herself” since I am only a few feet away. The indoor lazy river pool is a huge hit - and clean and maintained. The outdoor pool is BEACHFRONT..almost in the sand its so well located. The few times we have stayed there the staff was always above and beyond helpful. Downfalls - The A/C units could use an upgrade and the breakfast spot needs some decor upgrades but the food is REAL (not ”pretend scrambled eggs” ) and well prepared and service is good. I wouldn't consider it a ”Luxury” hotel and the seasonal prices are equal to the fancy competitors but I guess that depends on how you define luxury - my daughter would choose this hotel over the new Hilton without question.
