WARNING: Inflexible reservation changes after your stay begins. DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOUR PLANS MIGHT CHANGE!!!! I stayed here on a business trip, originally planned for seven nights. They charged my entire stay at the beginning, and I also selected the breakfast plan. As happens for work, my plans changed, and I only needed to stay 6 nights. I told them two days before, and they REFUSED to issue a refund, not only for the unused night, but also for breakfast. Their claim that it was a "cancellation", and a change in a reservation was a "cancellation." Even if this was true, I gave them more than 24 hours notice, in which case their policy states "In the event of cancellation after the cancellation deadline, we will charge for the first night", which was done. Bottom Line: Don't stay here if your plans might change, the establishment will keep all your money.

Interesting hotel, seems to have a religious theme but overall it is decent for the price. Nothing fancy, no TV in the room etc. But if you are just looking to sleep and check out then it's absolutely fine. Good location, five minute walk to the centre and station.

Clean and spacious place to stay up the hill from the train station. I am staying here for a night as I needed to be in Visp early in the morning for business. As my company did not pay for the overnight stay, I decided to book a cheap place to stay near the train station. I arrived last night at 21:30, and the reception was closed but they gave me instructions how to enter the building amd into the room. The room is minimalistic with 2 little bed and a bathroom, but this is exactly what I needed. The room is clean. It is about 1km/ 0.5 mile walk from the train station, going uphill. Just walk along the main promenade, city hall, then a church and a cemetery.

This is just a secret to uncover. Located at a nice walking distance through the center of Visp from the train station this older conference center and hotel offers accommodation in large double rooms or multiple bed rooms hostel style. all the double rooms are very big and comfortable and they have inroom toilette. The big room located at the upper floor have common toilets and showers in the hall. The hotel offers also restaurant services but more on a catering style. The meal is served at a certain hour only. I have to say that the place has that authentic Swiss flare from the 70s. The place is extremely quiet, with a very friendly stuff and nice surroundings. The rates are very affordable. Most important of all I think, the hotel is the GOLDEN STANDARD for cleanliness...I don't think I have never seen this level of clean and organized fashion anywhere. Tip-Top

Das Haus liegt etwa oberhalb vom Bahnhof gegenüber vom Spital. Das ist natürlich etwas anstrengend wenn spät nachts der Heli landet. Aber ansonsten sind die Zimmer super sauber, der Zimmer Service sehr aufmerksam, alle sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind natürlich spartanisch eingerichtet, aber das macht nichts. Eigentlich braucht man nichts mehr, WiFi war sehr gut. Frühstück mit selbstgemachten Produkten ist auch sehr nett gemacht und auch super in Ordnung. Wer das mag hat einen Super Platz mit gutem Preis Leistungsverhältnis. Wenn wir wieder in Visp zu tun haben kommen wir gerne wieder.
