Stayed here on a recent motorcycle trip. The hotel is easy to find, right on the lake and has ample parking available, we were able to park our motorcycles in the garage. The owner did her absolute best to ensure the hotel met our needs. Their are plenty of bars and restaurants on the lake side. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and very quiet.

The location was good; we had working air conditioning. The pool was lovely. That was it though. The staff were very unwelcoming, no English at all despite advertising they did. No smiles from any of them; at breakfast they were lined up behind the breakfast bar like The Addams Family. One to serve cheese, one to serve Ham, one to make an omelette (but would put nothing in it). Not allowed to help yourself! They seemed to like cake though (lots of it) for breakfast. Overall, a poor breakfast. We requested extra pillows three times, each time promised it would happen. It didn’t. My daughter had booked a family room for 2 adults, two kids. She was given one double bed and one single. Despite on-going protests that the booking requested 1 double and two singles, they refused to do anything apart from a price reduction. The staff were unsmiling; unhelpful, unwelcoming. Unfortunately their other restaurant across the road wasn’t open (in peak time, Friday night in August?) so we ate at a nearby lakefront restaurant, food excellent, but as it got dark it quickly transformed into mosquito heaven. All in all not a good stay. Would we go back? Not a chance.

I contacted them by email asking if they could recommend somewhere else as they were full on the dates we needed? I sent the email 22nd June , at the time of writing this I am still waiting for a reply. Obviously if they got a cancellation and offered a room now there is no way we would accept

Magnificent location facing the lake. The lady, I presume the owner, is very kind. Convenient parking. End of good things. The structure is equipped and does not shine or smell in the room. The mattress is terrible. The breakfast was miserable including midges. All for €130.

At the Hotel Royal we immediately found welcome, friendliness and professionalism. The owner Andrea and his collaborators made us feel at home! The cleanliness of the bedroom was excellent, with a breathtaking view of the lake! The exteriors and the swimming pool are also well looked after. Large parking area reserved for customers. Also recommended is the restaurant opposite, La Palafitta, owned by the same owners

To say that they were annoyed is an understatement, the owner, having to pay for me, arrived and pointed out that I was leaving very early........Honestly if breakfast is from 7.15 they should guarantee service from that time, otherwise it is better to change the time. The cleanliness was not the best, the structure is very dated and the mattress was really uncomfortable.

The location and the room overlooking the lake are wonderful.. Mrs. Carmen is extraordinary... and the second time we return and she is certainly the soul of this structure! He always exchanges a few words with guests and is really kind! It's worth going just for you! Internal parking available. Negative note: The water in the pool was green and only when we left did we notice that it had returned to a more natural color... the impact was therefore a bit hesitant but the owner reassured us that everything was ok ! So we didn't hesitate to cool off on these hot days.
