Manyatta Camp

I would like to thank all the staff from Manyatta Camp who has received our 40 guests group last Nov. 29 and did an amazing job to make our stay a very special one. Caroline has organized an evening Night with a Live Band. We had so much Fun. Checked in and out was very Easy with Meshack at Front Desk. Barman Moises and his colleague were very efficient even if I helped with Dishes and cleaning was funny. The waitress at buffet was also efficient and fast and she gave an amazing dance performance. Thanks everyone for your good work. Second experience in this Camp lodge with a private pool in each camp and Still a big WOW. Be carefull with all mosquitos if i can call them Mosquitos loll

Manyatta Camp was our favorite during our safari, although we also stayed at Salt Lick Lodge and Kibo Safari Camp. It is in a great location, the food is delicious, with a strong Indian influence. Each tent has its own pool, monkeys jump on top of the tent at night, don't be scared, and the elephants eat right in front of the tent. Wifi is only available in the restaurant, buy a data card at the airport.

Our 2 night stay was simply worth it. The camp is amazing, clean and well set up. The tents are very nice, comfortable and spacious, and what makes it amazing is the private swimming pool outside each tent overlooking the view of Tsavo East. We had lots of elephants and a few zebras pass going towards Voi Wildlife Lodge. The staff are so friendly and helpful, they greet you every morning and ask if you rested well at night. Carol at the reception was amazing, she took care of us and ensured we were comfortable. The security guard - Thomas took care of us well and he showed us a cheetah early in the morning that wasn't too far from our tent. We followed the cheetah all the way to Voi Willdife Lodge where it went to drink water. Later in the evening we saw a Lioness at Voi Wildlife Lodge which is a 10 minute walk from the camp. The food was amazing for both veg and non-veg - There's a good variety one can choose from. The dessert also is fresh and so delicious! The Staff at the dining area were so good and always asked us how our day went and if we saw any animals. I love this camp - it's just perfect. I enjoyed my stay and will definitely visit again and again!

This is an amazing ing place to stay. So close to Tsavo East and so luxurious. Nicest tented suites we’ve ever had. Even had an outdoor patio with a private pool. Dinner was outstanding and breakfast even better. I just wish we had booked it for more nights.

The review of this hotel is very divided. The pool was nice, and an extra plus for a small pool to each cabin. You really felt like you were in the middle of the jungle -both in a positive and in a negative way. The cabins didnt have air condition, but they had a fan, so the temperature was allright. The cabins were however not quite insect proof, and we had several unwanted visitors in our room, and I would never step on the floor without shoes as there were many ants on the floor. There was a large mosquitonet over the bed, so by tucking it neatly under the mattress, I managed to sleep quite well. Nice to be able to sit in the restaurant overlooking elephants and other animals from the national park near by. Dont expect luxury, but the food was good.

I stayed at the Manyatta Lodge for just two nights but it was a truly wonderful experience. To start with the staff were excellent and couldn’t have been more helpful. Abu on reception was very welcoming and kind and the guards were really helpful when baboons came near to the tent. The room itself is fantastic. The bed is very comfortable and the tent itself is spacious and clean. There is a wonderful balcony with a private pool in each tent which really is magical, allowing you to look out over Tsavo. I saw zebra, baboon, giraffe, elephants and more all from the balcony. The food was amazing prepared by Chef Lennox and George and expertly served by Paul. There was a great variety in what was on offer and everything was well prepared. I stayed full board which included a packed lunch box which was excellent also. Location couldn’t have been better. It is incredibly close to Voi gate but as aforementioned you can see lots of wildlife from the balcony. Overall, this was a wonderful stay and as a young solo female traveller I felt very safe and secure so would definitely recommend a stay here :)
