Our room was spectacular, spacious, and very comfortable. It had a lovely patio attached. Service was terrific. Quinten was very helpful. He is a wonderful resource. We would definitely come back. The grounds were lovely and our experience was very relaxing.

Wonderfully quiet at night. No roosters heard. Clean, a bit worn. We thought there was a kitchen ensuite but there's a big one which may be communal. Not clear. The Paniola room has one small sink that doubles for the bathroom and microwave/ fridge use. There's a large living room adjacent for all. It was quiet cold and while there space heater in the bedroom, women were wearing jackets to breakfast! The breakfast was ok. Skimpy on the fruit, like two narrow strips of papaya. No dark curtains facing the driveway, only sheers which was odd. Small shower stall. Needs some updating.

The room was lovely, the host was very accommodating, the breakfast was wonderful and made to order ,the location was convenient to all local restaurants and sites and the grounds were gated and beautifully maintained! I highly recommend this B&B!!!!

We booked a last minute unit at the Aloha Junction Guesthouse when our other hotel fell through after traveling from Japan and driving all the way up to Volcano. The owner of the Aloha Junction Guesthouse was so kind and compassionate about our situation and was able to book us in their cozy and welcoming Pele room. The King and Queen beds were very comfortable and the two full bathrooms were a nice amenity since we had 3 adults in the room. The cozy fireplace warmed up the room instantly. In the morning we enjoyed the coffee, french toast and granola that was provided. We enjoyed a delicious Thai dinner in town as well. We will definitely be back!
