Was here for 2 nights. Luckily we were on bottom floor and did not have to navigate 3 flights of metal spiral stairs to upper floor. Rooms small, bed placed so one person has to crawl over the other to get in/out. Showers nice. Not user friendly rooms for luggage. We only do carryon and no place to open, store suite case for easy access. Restaurant was good, hot tubs nice. Nice location by river. Can walk to town

I spent four nights at the hotel, and they were among the most enjoyable nights with the amazing view from my room. The scenery was truly breathtaking. However, there were no breakfast options available, which was a bit disappointing. I also loved the creative idea of the water tap at the reception — such a thoughtful and unique touch

Stayed for two nights. Service was very basic - more like a bed & breakfast. Staff not available after 10pm, room temperature for main building rooms centrally regulated and cold at night, occasionally slight smell of fertilizer outside and in cafe. Poor food options - only offered set menu at dinner (needs 25h booking in advance, they didn’t tell us at check-in), no room service, limited breakfast buffet without even cappuccino (waitress explained “the bar only opens at noon”). Place seems very understaffed - we never saw anyone at reception, you have to ring a bell and then (most of the time) someone will come. Our room was small and simple but modern with nice view. Still felt overpriced considering service quality.

No service in this hotel. They dont serve dîner after 7:30 and they dont serve breakfast before 8 am. I m médical doctor I arrived at 8 pm and I left at 7.30 in the morning. The result of this experience is that I didn’t eat either in the evening and in the morning. The place is very beautiful but lack quality,service not exist and especially know how.

Room are very nice. However, there are NO restaurants in the area and we tried a week in advance to make a reservation at the hotel restaurant for dinner and they would not give us a reservation. They said that they were booked. So we had no food. For that reason I cannot recommend it.

Elva Hotel in Voss is a one-of-a-kind eco-friendly retreat with stunning lake and mountain views. The rooms are modern and cozy with super comfortable beds. Staff are genuinely friendly and attentive. The on-site restaurant is excellent, serving delicious meals in a beautiful setting. A peaceful, scenic, and memorable stay—we can’t wait to return!

Great stay. Friendly environment and good amenities. We really enjoyed the location and views. The dinner was excellent. We were made welcome on arrival and shown round the site which consisted of several rooms / cabins. We had not been told that we should order dinner in advance but had arrived before 15:00 and so were able to do so. The meal was a fixed menu which had a small choice but this meant that food was excellent and very fresh. We would definitely return but I am not sure if we would want to stay more than 4 nights at a time.

We highly recommend the Elva Hotel and restaurant! The hotel and the views are gorgeous. The room was comfortable with a large window and amazing view of the river. We had the three-course dinner, both the meat and the fish, and everything was delicious and beautifully presented. I had the wine pairing and all of the wines were terrific. Breakfast was delicious with a variety of selections plus you could order eggs and bacon made to order. We also enjoyed the sauna and outdoor jacuzzi. Service was outstanding across the board. They really care here.
