We had a very nice and pleasant stay, staff was great and very helpful. Will not be easy to run a hotel this size, but they are doing an amazing job. And the road to get to hotel is a bit small. The location on the beach is amazing

Great place to spend your holiday with the family. Amenities are well maintained. The only thing I missed from my previous visit to Turyaa was the punctual check in time. Other than that, everything was super nice. 👌

Overall experience is good. But there is some areas need improving
Since my reservation AI went for take my evening snack. As per mentioned went to Pinklobster outlet. Had to wait to find someone in that outlet. And I went to Reception and informed there is no one and they called. Again I went back and stay around 15min and one of the person cam and inform us there is snack in another location.
Pool bar service is perfect
In the evening there was no lights in out corridor and evening Wifi not worked in our room informed to reception and they help us to resolve the problem.
In the restaurant plates are not in good condition. There is lots of scratch marks on the plate. (Black marks)

Our family of three checked into the hotel during the first week of May 2025. Unfortunately, our overall experience was underwhelming. Room service was disappointing, our order was incorrect, and we chose not to send it back as we assumed it would take a long time to receive the correct one. It also took three separate calls just to receive the room service menu.
Additionally, we were charged for ice despite having an active room service food bill, which felt unreasonable. When we inquired about evening entertainment (Friday eve), the front desk assured us a live band would be performing, but this never happened.
It appeared the resort seems to operate with minimal staff, which may explain the drop in service quality. On a positive note, we were warmly welcomed by a great host at check-in, and the barman at the pool bar made excellent cocktails and provided friendly service. Hopefully, this could be just a rare slip-up.

The room is large, with a view of the sea and its own private beach. The gate is always closed, and there are security guards, which makes you feel safe. There is a Family Mart on the right hand side of the railway, but it only opens at 9 am.

I had a wonderful stay at Turyaa Kalutara Hotel for 3 nights and the property is beautifully maintained with stunning ocean views, spacious rooms, and a relaxing atmosphere. The food was delicious with a great variety at the buffet. I want to especially admire two exceptional employees - Miss. Ruwanthika and Mrs. Pasindu from the restaurant, who always served with a big smile and went above and beyond to ensure guests were satisfied. Their professionalism truly enhanced my experience. I hope that was not only for me and my wife, I saw they greet and serve everyone who was dining there. Thank you both again and Highly recommended place. ❤️
