What an excellent stay! Beautiful place with delightful gardens, great breakfast, lovely room - just like being in an old French Chateau with period furniture everywhere, superb hosts and well worth staying. The Brocante in the basement was such a surprise! Fascinating!! We will be back there without a doubt.

Fabulous, wonderful host, beautiful gardens, romantic rooms, the best breakfast ever. The grounds include a giant fountain at the front which, if you stay in the front of the house will wake you in the morning with the soft sound of water. The rooms have giant baths and no tvs a place that forces you to fall in love all over again.

We return again and again - just such a fabulous place to stay. Breakfast is just amazing. Wondering hosts. Can't say anything more than ....just fabulous. Only negative is that there is nowhere nearby to have a 'good' evening meal without driving.

This is a special place run by a charming thoughtful friendly couple. We stopped over on our way south and enjoyed our stay so much that we booked again on our way heading back north Public areas are gracious and welcoming, bedrooms are comfortable and well equipped but it is the breakfast in the beautiful dining room that will be the feature you are unlikely to forget. I cannot recommend the Chateau ‘Castel des Anges’ enough. Lucky are they who get to stay here.

Fantastic chateau with wonderful decor and furniture. Attention to detail top notch. Very clean. Breakfast was amazing. Not a buffet. Fruits, home made jam. Home eggs. Utterly wonderful. The hosts were open, friendly and exceptionally warm. Loved it here.

My partner and I just needed a few days somewhere beautiful, to wind down and relax. We were completely overwhelmed and deeply grateful for our wonderful stay. The Chateaux is gorgeous, romantic and so clean. Our room had a salon, bedroom and bathroom - all of which were stunning . The owners run the whole Chateaux and their attention to detail and level of service is rare. Dominique and Sandrine gave us the warmest of welcomes and instantly made us both feel totally welcome and at ease , despite the grand surroundings of the Chateaux. Breakfast was beautifully presented with fresh fruits, yoghurt, homemade jams, pastries, croissants and eggs in differing forms each morning. We felt utterly spoilt and actually wondered how we found such a real treasure ! This was five star accommodation and breakfast without the crazy expense . This is an honest review. If you are happy to drive about 5 miles to eat out in the evenings - then this is one of the very best places to stay for a few days in France . An hour from Calais and you are a thousand miles away from reality ! Totally immersed into a pure French experience where you truly feel welcomed and cared for. I have never written a review after my travels- but this place is simply stunning, run by a hardworking couple who really know what excellent service is . Thank you so very much for the wine you left in our room on our last night and for the homemade jam. This was a trip to remember. We have paid three times more for food and accommodation that genuinely was not as good as what we experienced at this Chateaux! Absolutely fabulous, Sandrine and Dominique are superb hosts, all rooms very clean and tastefully decorated, would recommend , very safe and quiet area, I parked my motorcycle overnight with no problem,

What a great place for our first stop less that an hour and a half from the eurotunnel terminal. Great host, impressive building , excellent standards in the room and also for breakfast. Would definitely consider staying here again when next in the area.
