Thornton Lodge Motel

On our trip we stopped at this motel for one night. Well, generally speaking, you can't expect much from a motel, but this one beats everything. The only positive thing was the brief, friendly greeting when checking in. You can also overlook the sparse infrastructure of the hotel complex and building, as well as the worn-out furniture that doesn't match. But from the very beginning you needed the air conditioning on full power to be able to bear it in the room, as there was no insulation in the whole apartment. The bathroom was like a refrigerator. There was mold on the floor next to the toilet, the shower head had practically no pressure, the bedside tables and various light switches were sticky! The pillows smelled very unpleasant, my duvet was dirty, and there were long hairs lying around in the bathroom. Early in the morning we packed our things and were glad to leave. We were surprised by the good reviews, because we were of the opinion that it was unacceptable here.
