Daiwa Roynet Hotels in Wakayama

Wonderful location. Very clean. Good service. Friendly and helpful staff. We experienced a mild earthquake in early morning. There was announcement after the alarm to the hotel room after the shake. However, it was only in Japanese. It would be better if the announcement could be in English as well. Anyway, the reception took our call and explained the situation quickly.

Very cost-effective hotel. The room is very clean and tidy, and the hotel's service is also very good. If you arrive early, your luggage can be kept for you. The breakfast variety is rich and delicious for the price. It is very convenient to go to the city center with JR. I will stay here again when I go to Tokushima in the future.

I chose it because there is a large hot spring bath. It is close to Wakayama Station and there is a station behind the hotel, so it is convenient because you can enter and exit even in the early morning. Above all, it was good to be able to heal the fatigue in the hot spring. It was small and there were few washrooms, but there were no other users and I was able to relax in a state of occupying one person. The room was clean and even in the double room, there was a space to spread the luggage, so I was able to spend a comfortable time. I would like to use it again if I have the opportunity.

Directly connected to Wakayama Station. Because it was in front of the station, there was a CVS and so on. It was on the upper floor of ”Kino Wakayama” in the station building and dinner was done there. The building was clean and the bath was very comfortable with a view of the Kino River. There was also a menu with breakfast and it was delicious. However, it was a few dissatisfaction points that made the evaluation ”normal”. It is mainly a part of hospitality, not hard. First of all, I was guided to breakfast at check-in. Because it was a Bon Festival time, there was a paste that the breakfast time was early in the elevator, but it was guided at the front desk at the usual time. Under the corona, the locker of the bath was pulled out, but when the locker without the key was opened and asked the front desk whether it was possible to use it, it was answered that it did not get the point. When I used it for family ３ people and asked the front desk for breakfast tickets without a number of people and confirmed that it was okay and went to the breakfast venue, I was told that ”the breakfast ticket is not enough １ pieces”. I thought that the front desk was on the upper floor and it was surprising to go up to the upper floor once when I checked out. As a concept of the whole Candeo Hotels, it is called ”unique ４ stars”, but it has somehow lacking impression that it does not become ５ stars. It seems that there is a chain hotel nationwide, but what about ... It is a hotel that does not come to the top of the choice.

This ryokan is located in front of the Osaka Bay in the small bourgeoisie of Kada, 100 mts from the very beautiful sanctuary of Awashima-Jinja and 400 mts from the shipper for Tomogashima. A ship is made available by ryokan to travel to Kada station (Nankai line) to go and come to Wakayama city. The Japanese style rooms (tatamis on the ground, futons and hyper moulded couettes) are very spacious with a loggia with a XLL view of the sea and the Tomogashima and Jinoshima islands, especially for the sea side rooms. The dinner and breakfast, as well as the Japanese as it is due in a ryokan (traditional Japanese hostel), are a real pleasure for eyes and papillae. I went down without asking this answer, and suddenly I offered a dessert plate, and I had questions about how to solve it, because the acquaintance of Sommelier in the seat behind us was more likely to be We were enjoying the meal and each employee was coming to greet us. At first, we were thinking about asking for wine, and we asked Sommelier to ask for the recommendation and ask for the proposal via other employees. However, I was repeatedly called to the young staff to say ”I'm sorry” when I passed the check-in counter to thank you for the roughness and return to the room after the meal. I thought I would have received an apology at first, but it was a mistake. ”I'm sorry! I have accounting for beer!” We didn't receive any wine at the restaurant. On the spot, there was a person in charge, so I told him that I didn't drink and returned to the room, but I was very uncomfortable with repeated events and contacted the front desk. And I explained the above events and asked, ”What do you think? How do you think we should respond?” By contacting you again, the same restaurant director will be in the next 30 minutes. I came to apologize with a 1000 yen ticket, and I was given a ticket to 々 early. We don't want a ticket or a dessert plate. I asked for an explanation of the details and how I would respond in the future.I refused the ticket and repeated it, but I couldn't understand it.Finally, if you don't receive the ticket, the story ends. I had no one, so I had a swallow at the end of the day. This time, the sick friend's health was a little calm, so it was a trip I was looking forward to. We chose Marina City Hotel as a place to relax in the vicinity. The building was beautiful and the surrounding facilities and the response of the people there were great, but the response of the hotel employees was ruined It was. When I went to Wakayama from a friend, I was very kind, so I was told to go to Wakayama again, and it was the reason I chose this hotel this time. When my friends and I were talking about this, they were tears.

I stayed in Wakayama for the first time. There were few restaurants around the east exit of JR Wakayama Station where the hotel is located, but there was no problem because I could go to the west exit through the connecting passage. There was a convenience store nearby, and buses to Kansai International Airport were also arriving and departing from the bus terminal at the JR East Exit. The hotel room was based on black and I was able to sleep slowly.

Close to JR Wakayama station, whilst not on the most exciting side, there's still plenty of food options for dinner. The hotel is what you would expect from the Toyoko Inn chain if you've ever stayed with them before: efficient check in, good service, small but clean and comfortable rooms. Breakfast is the usual basic Japanese fare with toast as a Western option, with limited seating. They strangely seemed to be lacking knives, so other hotel guests as well as myself were using forks, spoons and chopsticks to try and spread the jam on the toast! A well priced hotel which gives me the basics I need for a good night's rest.

3 minutes walk from Wakayama Station. Thank you for the vicinity of the station. It was a continuous night on a business trip, so it would be helpful to have a coin laundry. I am very grateful to have a coin laundry in a business hotel. I am glad that the room has Wi-Fi. Breakfast is not a buffet in the corona but is prepared on the plate. There was a morning － hee and mineral water drink service. I walked around because there was a rental cycle because there was time. Color 々 is substantial and cospa is good. I want to use it again.
