"A hotel is located not very far from the ferry and location itself is very quiet, if you would like to travel to other island this is very convenient for you. However Surfeel does not have any convenient shop for you to walk by (if you don’t have a car). The internet is quite slow and sometimes would disconnect itself, other than that it’s a very lovely hotel with great breakfast."
"I like Dormy Inn in most places, but I think this one is one of the better one. Room are relatively larger than other places, breakfast is good (most other Dormy inn are also good) and I think the Onsen is one of the best I’ve been to."
"Spent New Year’s Eve here. Wakkanai is a very comfortable small town in the far north, with simple folk customs and a simple and clean environment. Miyuki is very close to the train station, and it is also very convenient to go to two points in the far north, just take the bus. The scenery near the lighthouse is really beautiful, but very cold. The seafood at DreamWorks next to the station is very good, and I had my New Year’s Eve dinner here. Thanks to Brother Cang from Station Cinema for his enthusiastic help❤️"
"The room is clean and comfortable, with beautiful scenery outside the window.
The hotel itself is a hot spring hotel. Although it can be seen that it is an old-fashioned hot spring hotel, the interior must have been recently renovated, so the room equipment is all new.
The only thing is that the air conditioner in the room cannot be changed at will. However, you can open the window to let the cold air enter the room to adjust the temperature.
After all, nearly 2/3 of the year in Wakkanai is winter, so it is reasonable to design a greenhouse.
It's just that I'm personally afraid of heat, so I don't like the room temperature to be dry or warm.
The hotel's hot spring is also a major feature. It is a natural hot spring and is very comfortable after soaking in it.
During my two-day stay, I also found that many people were staying at the hotel. During my stay, most of the people I saw were Japanese locals.
It is not far from downtown Wakkanai and can be reached by car in about 10 minutes.
I haven't ordered any food from the hotel, so I can't comment.
Highly recommended to stay."
"Although this hotel is enough, the facilities are complete. The only thing is that the toilet is old, but the staff is good and can provide all transportation assistance. Moreover, there is a large supermarket nearby, and there are some restaurants around, so that everyone can eat three meals with peace of mind."
"The hotel is just opposite the station, very convenient. The boss and his wife are very nice. They even lent me glue when my suitcase was broken. As for Wakkanai, the transportation is the same, and there are four round trips a day to the northernmost scenic spot. There is a supermarket next to the restaurant, but it closes at 7 o'clock. I recommend Wakkanai milk. It tastes very good."
"One of the best youth hostels I've seen. The staff is very nice, you can make your own meals, and there's free parking, so you can experience the feeling of traveling when you were young. It's just that Wakkanai is a bit run-down, and it's not convenient to eat and drink. It's not worth driving so far"
"Unfortunately, I could only get one of the two breakfasts since from October the breakfast time is shifted from 6.00 to 7.00 clock, the first of 2 trains per day to Asahikawa is about 6.40 clock, so it is not possible. The hotel is old, the room and the hall are the floor of the carpet in a deplorable condition. The staff is very busy and nice, the Japanese breakfast was good."
GGuest UserThe hotel layout is like home, very comfortable, the clerk is like a mother, in the kitchen to make a big meal, there is something at the counter ringing, also come out to deal with, do not speak Japanese other than language, but there is a translation machine, basic communication is no problem, 1 parking 2 food, are eating some Japanese family dishes, We booked a terrace sea view room. We could watch the sunset, but it happened to rain on the day of the stay. I missed it. The sound of the waves was very loud at night, but I saw the sunrise in the morning. I drove to Zonggu for about 10 minutes. The overall feeling was very good.
海海島王子This is a well-established business hotel near Minami-Wakkanai Station. The building and facilities are clean and well-maintained. The front desk staff are polite and friendly, and the service is excellent.
The large public baths are also hot springs! Wakkanai hot springs are truly relaxing and refreshing, and are a must-try! This is a quiet and relaxing hotel.
Convenience stores, restaurants, and drug stores are all nearby, making it very convenient.
CCHENG DER YUThe location is excellent. The food is large and delicious. The only pity is that the four-person room on the first floor is not non-smoking.
JJIAMINGLooking at the old, but in the relatively remote town of Wakkanai, it is quite good, the basic facilities are complete, and the style bathrobe. It is not far from the Wakkanai Station, and it is about 700 meters walk. The nearby convenience store may have to go to Senkomato in Wakkanai Station. After all, things are still there. Overall, there is no one at the front desk. I can only go to the service staff for help. I recommend using Japanese.
Some top places to stay in Wakkanai are near popular attractions like Wakkanai Park and Wakkanai North Breakwater Dome—so you can quickly get to top landmarks and amenities you need.
