What fantastic moments we had at Fox Harb’r! The resort is located on a charming site by the ocean, with every possible activity imaginable! I loved that it was far from the city. It felt truly peaceful there! The golf course was fun to play, entertaining, and enjoyable since it wasn’t overcrowded. The suites are beautiful, clean, and spacious. It’s like sleeping at home, with all the little details in place! The food was our biggest surprise, as everything was top-notch! The dishes were flavorful, the wine list was interesting, and having two restaurants offered plenty of choices. Lastly, the service was exceptional throughout the entire resort! Janelle and AJ at Trifecta were amazing! The restaurant staff felt like family. One small comment: I would have liked to see proper spa facilities, with a hammam, sauna, and outdoor hot tubs. Otherwise, I’ll definitely be returning when the two new 9-hole courses are ready. It’s an experience to live and relive!

The location is absolutely spectacular, can't get better views! Room was perfect, we had an ocean view room and would recommend splurging. Heated bathroom floor is to die for, I'd also recommend adjusting the heat schedule so you have toasty floors for middle of the night bathroom visits! Only meh aspect was the food. The stay was for our 25th anniversary and we wanted to go somewhere nice as a treat. I do unfortunately have celiac, but the server was happy to inform that many items can be prepared safely. I gladly ordered the according to their menu "signature" seafood chowder, but was disappointed to receive a watery, flavourless broth with what looked like a handful of frozen carrots and onions thrown in. No seafood to be had in said broth. I felt bad for the server when I asked if there should be actual fish in the seafood chowder (advertised was lobster, halibut, scallops & salmon, I kept scraping my spoon along the bottom of the bowl in disbelief that none of that was in there), but at the same time she didn't seem to be super surprised or act like it wasn't the norm. I do recommend the Chardonnay made with their grapes you'd see growing along the road on the way in, very tasty. My husband liked his buttermilk chicken sandwich, nothing special but it filled the gap. We were only there for one night so didn't have the opportunity to explore further options, but I bet there are some good local spots run by friendly locals in nearby Wallace or Tatamagouche to try for food.

Beautiful spot to escape from the hecticness of life. Rooms are very comfortable and quiet - like the style of the small buildings with only a few rooms per building.

We were there for a special event - the Lennie Gallant Concert - Christmas Tour 2024. The resort was actually closed for the season but re-opened for this special event. Buffet dinner and concert. Beautifully decorated, great food and service.

Our first time. It was absolutely fantatastic, cannot find anything to complain about. Staff, amenties all 5 star. We were expecting to be blown away by the food at the song writers circle but it was just good. So no complaints just our high expectation was not met

This was our 3rd off season visit, and we would recommend this wonderful resort for anyone wanting a quiet getaway, with value for money. Great food, and wonderful indoor and outdoor activities.

The resort is a short 45 minute drive from our home, so it made a nice and easy getaway option. The off season pricing was enticing. The property is beautiful and well maintained. We enjoyed the remote location. Our suite was large and well designed. Water pressure was great, but the water was hard and rinsing hair wasn't easy. It was hard to get an ideal temperature for the suite... so much technology to work around. The bed was comfy and the bedding was nice. The sofa was huge and comfy too. There was a bit of noise everytime the main door to the building was opened and closed. The restaurant staff were friendly and efficient. You'll have to be patient with speed of food delivery, but we had no where else to be, so we didn't care. Food quality was lovely, but expensive, as would be expected at such a place. The lodge was beautiful and the shooting and archery activities were fun. The spa was relaxing and staff were great... enjoyed my massage. Loved being there and didn't want to leave.
