The clan at Terrigal is an older style motel but is impeccably clean. Check in was easy, parking was right next to our room and it is a short walk to town via the bridge or the beach. There is a sign on the building saying that they have the best Breakfast on the coast. Well, I reckon they do and it’s included in the price of the room. The people in the restaurant are cheerful and service was prompt.

Attractive appearance to this hotel in a nice location on the Lagoon at Terrigal. Clean and comfortable but in need of serious maintenance to some of the outdoor posts and handrails that are suffering Sea weather exposure. Sliding flyscreen door falling apart from corrosion. Quite a lot of traffic noise at peak hours. Guest laundry provided. Our stay included a good breakfast.

Stayed here with mum almost a week; loved it, really romantic place in front of the lake, and management are nice. Breakfast was awesome - lovely English tea and best Belgian waffles ever. Thanks muchly.

I was part of a group of 60 women holding our State Conference at The Clan. Everything was professionally run, nothing was a bother to the staff. All the staff were truly wonderful and very helpful. The food was delicious and of course the ambience was incredible. Couldn't recommend The Clan highly enough. We had the best time.

Hotel is nice little old style building right on the waters edge, tasty breakfast included in the hotel restaurant (lots of people seem to just come here for the meals only). Staff are really friendly and helpful. This is my 2nd stay and I will be back again for sure.

Booked to stay one night at The Clan for an early Father’s Day weekend as my partner loves fishing and I prefer to fish from the balcony with a wine. Perfect location, we stayed in a lake view room with the lake just a stone throw away. Short 5 minute walk to the beach where my partner and son was fishing. The room itself isn’t bad, the bathroom was old but it was ok. The service from the reception staff at the hotel and the restaurant was what makes this place worth the stay. The food and the coffee at the cafe was amazing and was free with the room. I would stay here again, wish we stayed for longer.

maybe it is best to let the pictures do the talking. Staff were lovely, cleaning was good however hard to make it look good when the maintance is sadly letting them down, location very pretty....they have started sprucing it up having new carpet and paint but they still have a long way to go. Certainly not to the standard you would expect in a 4 start rated property.

Stayed 3 nights in Feb 2023. Great Location. Pre Ordered lunch grazing box good selection of food and value. Breakfast at Restaurant was nice. Reception staff friendly and welcoming. Housekeeping is not so good. We called reception each day after the daily service to ask for items not replaced, and furniture items wiped down, leaving them dirtier than before. Rooms are old and tidy, but not clean. More attention required in the housekeeping area of the Hotel. Price is up there for what you receive.
