I could hear every step, every door opening or closing… people rattling around the hallway all through the night. The room felt clean, but it smelt like a hospital. The feeling as a solo female traveller wasn’t nice at all… not helped by the fact the door didn’t have another bolt and the turning lock didn’t do anything at all.

“Stayed one night — the lodge was clean and staff were friendly. Unfortunately, the room was very cold and there was no hot water, so I had to leave without a shower, which was disappointing. Otherwise, it was a decent stay.”

stayed at Warrington for one night, Marianne on reception was very welcoming on arrival quickly checked us in and gave instructions on how to get to our room. We saw her again on departure again she was very friendly. would definitely stay again.

Really good place to stay. We were going to a gig at Parr Hall which is a five minute walk away. Some nice bars and restaurants nearby in the square.

Great location for a night out in Warrington or a game at the Halliwell Jones. Town only 5 minutes walk away and the stadium only 10 minutes. Good parking and cheap rates for 24 hours, only £5. Clean and tidy rooms with very friendly and helpful staff at reception, specifically Jizae who was a lifesaver.

Overall our stay was very pleasant although the hotel is in need of a refurbishment. Excellent position near train and bus station, large shopping centre, plenty of restaurants. We would definitely stay there if we were in the area.

Horrific smell in the rooms. There was pet hair all over the hall ways and rooms. Rooms were not cleaned daily especially considering they had a significant amount of pets staying in the hotel. Honestly one of the worst hotels I have stayed in.

Stayed for an extended time and it is wonderful! It is located right nezt to the town center so its is perfect for quick trips into town. Staff are extermely nice and friendly, rooms are comfortable and they provide you with plenty of tea, coffee and even hot chocolate! Overall wonderful stay!
