Pub Bistro Meals - you know the type - pub classics ! Lasagne Salad and Chips / Fish Chips and salad ( or in my case I asked for vegetables ) the Lasagne (I’m told) was ‘tasty’ and the chips and salad looked ok .. the fish was HUGE .. crunchy batter looked great.. then .. the veg .. good grief .. firstly it was hard to see ,in the very dim light , what was actually on the plate .. turns out two of the veg were potato and eggplant - both ‘baked’ to a very robust char .. they were black .. I can’t tell you what the third veg was because I wasn’t game to try it - possibly carrot .. we will never know .. the plate was awash with grease - the veg had the deep fryer treatment not a baking tray and that good looking piece of fish was as dry as a long hot summer once I cracked through the thick heavy batter .. very disappointing when each of these meals were $25 each. Yep. Won’t be heading back anytime soon. You’ll find better meals at the Horse and Jockey Hotel, The Warwick RSL ( can be hit and miss ) or the Condamine Sports Club

Our dining experience was enjoyable with adequate menu choices at reasonable prices. More a country pub feel than a restaurant dining experience but priced accordingly. Staff were friendly and efficient and 10% discount offered on meals for seniors. Our bangers and mash and home rissoles meals were both tasty and wholesome.

Amazing food , nice cold drinks Spent 1 night in a double room $144 for 1 night Hot and stuff room no air con just an old noisey fan. Couldn’t have the window open due to people walking past . Share bathroom and toilet was clear Carpark was very convenient

Burger for lunch was exceptional. Overall service was average. Saw people checking in having to carry suitcase up multiple flights of wooden stairs. The place has a charm due to its age and just needs staff to lift their game to balance it out.

Good pub meal. Nice atmosphere. Beautiful heritage building. While waiting for our meal we read about the history of the place. Very interesting. Our 2 first choices of meals were not available but overall happy with our experience. Situated in the town centre across the road from Coles.

Wow listen to all the cry babies! This place is pretty good actually. Basic rooms but they are clean and comfortable. Cheap meals- $10 specials, steak sanga, lasagne for $15, central location friendly staff will stay again. Pretty cheap accomodation $60 per night

Such a pity as it’s a lovely historic building with basic amenities. You can even get a decent meal at the restaurant. Due to no aircon you need the window open: unfortunately our windows ( we had 2 rooms) was over the beer garden. It was clearly signed no smoking which the staff didn’t enforce ( and even two staff members were seen smoking out there) Therefore we had to endure ( including our two small children) a decent amount of passive smoke until the small hours of the morning. We had asthmatics amongst our group who required medication due to the smoke. When I spoke to the manager she fobbed me off and did not care that they were not abiding to the non smoking laws. This area was clearly too close to where food is being served and the entrances. It was no adequately screened. Bad management ruined our stay. I will not be recommending anyone stay here.
