The best experience ever!! The hotel was very clean and the staff was helpful and professional! RAMA RUSSO in particular made our experience unforgettable! He showed us uncredible places. He has a wonderful attitude, always happy and willing to help. I strongly recommend him.

Well-kept and welcoming resort, quiet, suitable for a relaxing holiday, for those who like entertainment it can be found in the swimming pool area near the beach. Excellent location near the center and a stone's throw from the sea. Italian chef who offers highly recommended dishes at every meal, it's incredible to find cuisine of this level in Africa. The owner always available and always present. I also recommend purchasing excursions in the village, they are a guarantee.

The structure is quite old, the rooms are small, not very bright and in bad condition both in terms of supplies (pitiful bed and mattress, shower water reduced to a trickle, very small and uncomfortable shower) and maintenance. Services reduced to a minimum, poor all-inclusive (they don't even give you bottled water, which is a problem in Africa since you can't brush your teeth with running water), pitiful wi-fi connection. Medium-sized, well-maintained resort. The strong point is the food, with an Italian chef! I remember with my mouth watering the courgette and prawn risotto... delicious. Engaging but non-invasive animation. A plus is Martina, the Eden travel contact person available within the structure for any type of need or advice. The swimming pool is very nice and equipped, with a view of the sea. The adjacent beach was not very clean but not far from the hotel there are the paradisiacal locations Sardegna 2 and Isola dell'Amore with white sand. Traveled as a couple, I recommend!!

A welcoming resort surrounded by greenery that has all the necessary comforts. The variety and quality of the cuisine, the helpfulness and hospitality of the staff as well as the strategic position (being in the centre of Watamu and a stone's throw from the sea) are the strong points of Aquarius. We left a piece of our heart in Kenya and we also owe it to the place where we stayed, as it allowed us to meet wonderful people, among these a special mention goes to Dino, a golden boy, always smiling and kind who you can count on during your stay in the village. As for the various excursions and the Safari we relied on Prezzemolo (+254 710 552633) and we couldn't have made a better choice. Prezzemolo is a wonderful person, ready to welcome and satisfy your every need, who will make you discover the real Africa.

Overrated structure in the middle of Watamu. First of all, a village exclusively for Italians, whose only strong point is the food, however the queues during meals are quite long and the food runs out early (absurd!). Furthermore, drinks are by the glass and it is not an all-inclusive but a soft-inclusive: this means that coffee, spirits and ok, but not even bottles of water are included! I happened to have to ask for a glass of water at the bar at 10pm and they asked me to buy the bottle. Very spartan rooms and decent cleaning but in terms of organization not very efficient: upon arrival in the room that had been assigned to us the air conditioning did not work, and after waiting about 3 hours for it to be fixed, only after our insistence we managed to change rooms (the owner/director was not at all polite and almost resented the request). From the pool point of view, the beach towels provided by the lobby are often not available because there are few dry ones to use and the deck chairs at the sea side pool are less than the number of guests so on a couple of occasions we had to go back to the small pool at the bar. The beach is small and shared with the Lily Palm. Overall for us it was not worth staying here, and we will not return, but at least they did not pass themselves off as 4 stars.

We stayed at the Aquarius from 25 to 30 November 2023 and it was a wonderful experience from all points of view. The staff is friendly and helpful and has a good command of the Italian language. The property is very beautiful, the rooms are clean and spacious. Special thanks go to Martina and the entertainment team. Kenya really deserves it.
