Pole Pole Beach House

The place is cute and located just by the beach, the receptionist is, however, a mean-spirited individual. He began by scolding me for losing my way and then almost conned me out of transportation money to the airport which he refunded when I threatened to report him to the host. Other than the messy receptionist named Safari, I highly recommend this place.

Hidden gem along the clean sandy beaches of jacaranda beach watamu. The road is quite rough both from watamu or malindi but even a small car can make it here. You can get a tuktuk or a bike to bring you also. It takes about 25minutes. The house is newly renovated, very clean rooms. Welcomed and check in by Safari. He was very helpful during our stay. We had to pay half the fee in advance. We had to send the deposit to a telephone number rather than a paybill number. They need to get one for more secure payments. Breakfast was okay but there's room for improvement. Slippers missing from rooms, carry your own. Awesome beach view and its literally a minutes walk to the beach. There are some restaurants around the beach but abit costly and mostly serving sea food. You can have an arrangement to have your food delivered by bike from watamu or malindi. This worked well for us. We also negotiated with the beach restaurants. We recommend Safina &marafiki. You can rent a swinging bed from them at reasonable costs. Within the property, just near polepole there's a pool but its not ideal for small children and beginners. Only a small part is shallow and the rest deep. Very few people on the beach.. perfect for those who love privacy! We would definitely return. Very friendly and helpful host Peter, Safari, Esther and the rest.
