The Red Kettle Inn Bed and Breakfast

We stayed at the Red Kettle Inn for three nights in October. Positives first: Great location. Walking distance to the Watkins Glen main street. Firmness of the bed was good. The house is very quaint. The Innkeeper is gracious. Negatives: The train and boats will wake you up at a minimum three times nightly. The outside of the house needs a lot of care. The landscaping was out of control. The pictures online is not what you get. You could not sit out back to use the firepit because the cushions were all torn apart. I admit I am a neat freak and my home is very clean. I know not everyone lives this way. The house is filthy. There is no other way to describe it. Dusting has not occurred on all surfaces in over a year. If you are sensitive to dust, do not stay here. Our bathroom sink was not clean. We went to Walmart and bought Clorox wipes to clean the entire bathroom. I was really disappointed. I am graciously giving it three stars because of the positives listed above.

We stayed in the Red Kettle Inn B&B for a few days away...This 100 year old home was quaint and Trudi with her daughter Becca were excellent hosts...The breakfast each morning was unique and Trudi had suggestions on what to see in the area. The Inn was a couple of blocks away from the Main street and the harbour where we took a dinner cruise with music. We would stay here again!!

The Red Kettle Inn is a gem. Trudi is the owner and made us feel like family. She made some of the most amazing breakfasts for all the guests that stayed there. Told us about places to visit at Watkins Glen. What a amazing lady she is, I'm looking forward to going back to stay there again. I was in the Rose room and the bed was a king size bed.

Trudi is a gem! We enjoyed our stay throughly! Prepare yourself for a delightful stay with a welcoming and thoughtful host who is also a culinary maestro. Each morning we were happily surprised by her delicious three-course gourmet breakfasts! Can't recommend Trudi's beautiful Red Kettle Inn highly enough! 6 Stars!

We stayed at red kettle inn for four nights. The inn is beautiful and Trudi a sweetheart. The food was great and she catered to our every need. The home is a showplace and over 100 years old. We enjoyed the front porch in the evening and it’s location. We walked to restaurants and the glen state park. Would highly recommend.

The comfort, charm and cleanliness of this inn is only surpassed by the warmth and personality of the hostess. The breakfasts were a delight and location convenient. We definitely recommend to anyone considering a stay. We look forward to our next visit!
