Few resort's truly live up to ones expectations of a true getaway, but Wayanad Wild delivers just that. Tucked away on a secluded hillside deep in the forest, where birdsong and animal calls are more than just ambient noises, Wayanad Wild gets a city-boy as close as possible to the wilderness, while cocooning you in a duvet of luxury. No stone left unturned, from the Jeeps that plod up and down ***** the barely existent forest path up to the resort itself, the Maruti Eecos to ferry vacationers to and from their rooms ***** the relatively steep gradients, the extremely warm hearted and approachable hotel staff, the naturalists who guide us on the nature walks and treks, to the wonderful rooms themselves. No televisions here, though you still get Wi-Fi, and the rooms were excellent, with a beautiful view of the surrounding forest. If your holiday revolves around truly leaving the noises of civilasation behind, Wayanad Wild serves up just that.

It ws just excellent. Staff was so good and treated like family. Food was very good and lot of variety. Naturalist team just stands out amazing with all the details shared and wonderful treks. Kids enjoyed thw stay too and all the treks. Really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back

Our visit was absolutely amazing! The place is beautifully maintained, and every staff member we interacted with was incredibly helpful and professional. The food was delicious — we truly enjoyed every bite! A special shoutout to the environmentalists who guided us on the hikes — they were knowledgeable, friendly, and made the experience even more memorable. Huge thanks to Ashwanth, Aarthi, and Varke for their outstanding support. Recommendation for Future Visitors: If you're planning a trip, make sure to join the guided hikes — they’re not only scenic but also deeply informative thanks to the passionate environmentalists. Also, don’t miss out on the local cuisine; it’s a treat! We’re already planning our next visit. Highly recommended!

We visited CGH waynad property for our anniversary. Its a beautiful and well kept property amidst nature. Staff are very kind offering great hospitality. They went out of their way to make our day memorable by decorating our dinner table and even gifted us a hand made art. Very nice food and many activities to do. We did go on the famous nocturnal walk and its a must do activity for everyone. Would love to visit again.!

Excellent location, deep in the Western Ghat rain forest giving a real Jungle feel! Accommodation in cottage are of high quality! The entire team is courteous and very helpful! They went out of way to assist us especially with surprise arrangement they made for our Anniversary as we were celebrating same at their property!

Right from parking to road to resort was awesome, felt like a jungle jeep safari, our room was very beautiful with forest views, food was mainly southindian but delicious, service was bang on, activities were very interesting from treks to trails to bird watching...kids loved it,everything was up to the marks. Full marks 10/10.

a peaceful retreat surrounded by pristine rainforest. The moment you arrive, serenity takes over. The staff are exceptional: warm smiles, courteous service, and always ready to guide or assist. They make every guest feel valued and at ease. Activities are thoughtfully designed. The afternoon nature walk was breathing in the forest air. The night walk was unforgettable: finding frogs, snakes to lizard and how can I forget the leeches. Food is a delight—fresh, flavorful Kerala cuisine made with local ingredients, served with views of the canopy. From the exciting jeep ride up the off-road path to the convenient buggies within the property, every detail is seamless. Undoubtedly one of the best places I’ve ever visited. Pure rejuvenation

The resort is in midst of forest closely touching wildlife. It offers such a unique experience of staying closure to nature which I did not get anywhere before. Resort staff is very helpful and kind. Service is 10 out of 10. Would love to visit again in future.
