We had the most relaxing, restful holiday at Edelweiss Resort. This was our first trip to Mirissa and Edelweiss Resort was truly, a home away from home. Sewwandi and her team took so much trouble to make our holiday a memorable one, attending to all our needs as best as they possibly can. The food was really good, so totally Sri Lankan and just what we expected. We were delighted to note that the washrooms and bedrooms were super clean & spacious. Even though sea bathing was not possible right infront of the rooms, the beach was quite clean and we were able to walk on the beach. All in all, a great experience!

I visited Edelweiss resort early May this year with a bunch of my childhood friends. It provided a great occasion for all of us since some of us met almost after 30 years. The location has it's own scenic beauty with a nice beach front view and a clean and spacious garden and a swimming pool. The rooms has ample space and washrooms are spotless clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful that gave us a very homely feeling while respecting our privacy. I would recommend this resort to any family or a group planning to spend their next vacation .

We stayed for 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff are exceptional, always smiling and trying to help. Edelweiss is located a few minutes away from coconut tree hill, a great photographic spot and the beaches there are quiet and perfect for snorkelling and spotting turtles. Our room was spacious and cool with a nice modern shower and hot water. The breakfast is delicious and I recommend the yummy mango ice cream shake. Hire a a moped which is cheap to do in Mirissa which gives you lots of freedom.

Edelwiess Resort is nothing like what is shows on the net. The picture of teh pool is an example, it is badly maintained. It is situated in front of the sea, but the beach is rocky and hardly enough space to even stroll, also dirty. The road to the place is narrow and dimly lit. When asked for help for hot water the staff was ready to come in a towel, atrocious. Otherwise, the place is clean and so is the linen, However I would not come back in a hurry, the staff is unfriendly and sloppy. There was no hot water. The tea is served in lovely crockery.

Amazing food . Friendly & Helpful staff. Property is very close to the beach. Everything is good and great value for money. Rooms and washrooms are very spacious, new looking, clean and well maintained.
