A very beautiful and well-designed hotel. We had it all to ourselves for two days before and after we checked in on May 31st.
Mainly looking for private beaches, very clean beaches with no other people at all.
It is quite expensive, but the most impressive experience is very impressive. It is recommended to leave enough time to play on the beach in the afternoon on the day of check-in.

Sublime tropical modernism designed space, in the Geoffrey Bawa school, delights the senses and showcases the main attraction - the azure waters of the southern Sri Lankan coastline. Six nights at the Three Gables is the only equation to a rejuvenated soul. The welcoming sight of the sea that greets you upon arrival instantly 86s and care or worry. In the care of Suresh and his team, every detail is thoughtfully provisioned. The sumptuous breakfast - either local style curry or multi course continental are over the top, and will make you a morning person. Dinners are equally a delight, and who wouldn’t love dinner in the sand, illuminated by tiki torches under a canopy of stars; bonus points for the shooting stars. I did make a wish and hope that the cosmos will see that I get to stay again here at Three Gables. The care from Suresh and the entire team is sincere and charming. Room refresh and turn down service are enchanting, further underscored by homemade chocolate covered coconut candy bites. The assistance in coordinating a day excursion to Yala National Park (yes, we did in deed see leopards) to off the beaten path millennia old bodhisattva statue in Weli, is exceptional. Suresh is dynamic and he is the quiet unassuming gentle force in orchestrating this great property. Book now, stay forever.

What an amazing hotel , such great views of the beach and coast . If you are looking to relax this is a great scape. First service is incredible and humble, the manager welcome us with a big smile . Thanks to all the team for such a humble service and great experience. You must walk around the beach and enjoy the relaxing view . This place is 💯 and I recommend if you're looking for peaceful! Thanks Three Gables boutique villa for such a great experience! PDT : don't leave with out having Sri Lanka breakfast 😋! It is delicious

This hotel is a unique experience with only 4 rooms it is very much almost like having your own butler service boutique hotel. The breakfasts were the best we had on the island - the waffles absolutely delicious and the bacon was lovely too with the recommended avocado on toast. Beds were very comfortable. We had a wonderful experience where a turtle had hatched their eggs on the beach and we were lucky enough to help release them the next morning! There is not anywhere to really hang your clothes if it's wet so this is my only recommendation as we felt bad leaving ours all over the place!

Incredible staff. Beautiful location. Attention to humans. And details. Breakfast is beyond expectations. Both continental and Sri Lankan. Generous! Hard to access the beach and tough to swim with young children. Best spot is in the corner near the new mega Carlton. Restaurant and bar prices in $. That’s a pity. Great chefs but maybe too pricey. But. Going back to great staff. Again, they’re the magic. It’s worthwhile. And it’s a beautifully designed and appointed hotel. If you can, stay here.

Everything about about our stay at Three Gables was excellent. The room was clean, bed & pillows were comfortable and the best rain head shower ever. The service at this Boutique hotel is top class and the food was brilliant. The view of the beach and the infinity pool was simply stunning. It was lovely to chill out and enjoy a glass of wine. We loved our stay and would definitely return. A very special thank you to DInuka who looked after us from the moment we arrived. From special off menu dinners to advice on where to visit. We loved his cat named Blue, beautiful Persian who is well loved by all. Well done Suresh and the team at Three Gables😊

Where should I start to describe this great experience? With the excellent service who made our stay just perfect? With the beautiful design of the whole property with love in every detail? With the private beach with sundbeds and umbrellas? With the great ocean view you have from the luxurious rooms? With the refreshing plunge pool? Or with the greatest food we had on our Sri Lankan journey? As you can see, there is nothing to complain about and we highly recommend this nice boutique hotel. The staff is courteous, unassuming and excessively friendly and we felt very welcome here.
