Excellent location. Quite nearby to mirissa harbour and weligama. Liked the property. They arranged a candle lit dinner setting nearby beach as it was my honeymoon on request for no additional charges. Liked the beach, the swimming facilities and the buffet for dinner as well as breakfast. Arranged breakfast box as i had to go on whale watching and would have missed my breakfast. Very nice staff. Only thing they can improve is a bit quick on service as we had to call multiple times for getting our room cleaned.

The eco villa is a great option in Weligama that offers great quality at a reasonable price. Eco Villa is owned by a family, so staying here feels like being in a homestay. Owners and staff are extremely kind and helpful. Rooms are quiet, and spacious and are equipped with mosquito nets, fans, and air-con. There is a kitchen for preparing breakfast or other meals independently, hence this place is a great option for long-term stays, too. The beach is literally one minute away. Staying here is more than recommended!

The most expensive and best hotel in this trip, Roland Chateau's brand really deserves its reputation. On a hill in Villigmo, surrounded by mountains and rivers, the environment is absolutely nothing to say. The rooms are also very large, and the entrance is shared by 4 rooms. The swimming pool is slightly different from the single-family pool villa. In the evening, I used a 6-course dinner in the restaurant. It was cooked and eaten. There were only four of us, which was equivalent to a private restaurant. The chef of Roland Chateau really deserves its reputation and is worthy of 350 Michelin stars. Stars, the breakfast environment is also top-notch, what I want to complain about is the price, the price of nearly 8,000 yuan is indeed high

The location of the hotel is good, the sea view room is really super, and the dinner in the hotel restaurant is also very delicious, very cost-effective!

Very cool Place. On the first line overlooking the ocean. At night you sleep to the sound of the waves. It has its own territory. The cool owners became like family ❤️ I thank this house for everything... There are two beaches nearby... one for surfers, the other for swimming. Inexpensive, cozy and warm in this place…

The Weligama Bay resort is out of this world and the photographs on the web don't do justice to the place. Its by far the nicest place on Weligama Bay, because it is right on the beach, you can sit on the patio of the restaurant and watch children play on the beach and hear the calming sound of the Indian Ocean The garden villas are magnificent for families, a hop step and a jump from the pool and beach. The rooms in the main building are also very spacious and very clean and the service is superb. the rooms unlike what you might get in a sterile 5 star hotel have a Sri Lankan ambience and the resort is small. The Restaurant Cutty Sark, has superb staff who will cook you whatever Sri Lankan dish you want. We had five amazing dinners, party of 15 on the verandah overlooking the pool and the ocean. We surfed and the children had the best time of their lives! We will come back again and again. Indira Samarasekera

Jaga Bay Resort was fantastic! I arrived in town and the place I had booked did not have my booking and Jaga Bay came to the rescue. This is a family run local business. Jaga the owner supports local children with their education through his own personal donations and those of past guests. I was being a sticky beak one morning as a crowd of women and children were having a little ceremony and thanking Jaga. He explained to me that since the tsunami the hotel and past guests supported orphaned children to finish their schooling. There are only two children left so now they support local children in need. This warmed my heart so much as I saw such genuine support and appreciation with everyone there. I was in Weligama before a friend's wedding and was in desperate need for an under garment for my Sari. Jaga's wife and main office lady went above and beyond for me on new years eve...I managed to find an awesome tailor, personalised tuktuk driver's and first class service...and the best breakfast view! I will always come back here. Thank-you so much!
