"The hotel is on the very edge of the rock, not far from the main road. The hotel was settled earlier( at 12). The views from the room are just delicious. The breakfast is delicious. The dinner is even delicious and the views are amazing. The room itself is stylish. I highly recommend the hotel to those who want privacy, away from the city sounds. After the island's tour, we will definitely return here for a couple more days. Since the ocean is divine and the beach is at the hotel too"

"Weligama is a hidden treasure and the Marriott is its most valuable gem. Wonderful place with the best waves for surfers (beginners/ intermediate level), clean waters and beach. In the hotel, the swimming pool area is outstanding. They offer morning meditation and yoga sessions that you can join. Plenary if options for the breakfast, awesome spa and a good enough gym. The view from your room balcony is top!"
"Hotel is very comfortable and client oriented. We are happy to stay there. Thank you very much for beautiful holiday and hospitality. Especially I should mention the size and delicious of breakfasts. A lots of thanks to the cook team"
"Excellent location. Quite nearby to mirissa harbour and weligama. Liked the property. They arranged a candle lit dinner setting nearby beach as it was my honeymoon on request for no additional charges.
Liked the beach, the swimming facilities and the buffet for dinner as well as breakfast.
Arranged breakfast box as i had to go on whale watching and would have missed my breakfast.
Very nice staff.
Only thing they can improve is a bit quick on service as we had to call multiple times for getting our room cleaned."
"Wake N Flow was amazing. From the moment we checked in to the moment we left, we felt at home. The staff was all so kind and courteous when we asked questions or needed help getting around the city. The property itself is currently under small renovation but everything was kept clean and out of the way. The location was ideal because it’s only a 5 minute walk to the beach and 10 minute walk to the grocery store."
"A great hotel, a beautiful bar on the roof with a magnificent menu, a wonderful staff!
Modern hotel!
The rooms are clean, decorated.
We lived in this hotel for 2 days and felt comfortable, to get to nothing! In the room there is everything necessary!
The staff is very friendly, caring, smiling!
To the coast of the ocean 3-5 minutes walk.
The hotel is located in a magnificent green and natural silence, in the evening and in the morning from the roof of the bar it is cool to watch the families of the Langurs."

Amazing
⚡⚡pilibeibeiExcept for being expensive, there is nothing wrong with it. The hotel is owned by Dilmah, a famous tea brand in Sri Lanka. The whole hotel is on a cliff, so the beach is relatively weak, with only two small beaches, but it is a surfing paradise. The room density is very low, and the privacy is excellent. There will be a welcome drink when you check in, and you can order coconut or juice beer. The suite is very large, especially the bathroom, and the shower room can also be used as a wet steam room. Breakfast is ordered, with many choices, but they are all Western style, and the fruits are delicious. The room service is very good, and the towel elephants folded on the second night were so cute. I actually saw many peacocks walking in the hotel. The picture of animals and humans living in harmony is very interesting~
MmissanayakaThe smiles and service of the family were good, so I stayed again on the last day of my stay in Weligama. The area around the facility is quiet and you can stay at ease. The breakfast was very delicious! Especially fish curry. It was delicious and refilled. My father was very wild and kind, and my mother was a kind person who served a lot of delicious food. Thank you very much.
GGuest UserThe location of the hotel is good, the sea view room is really super, and the dinner in the hotel restaurant is also very delicious, very cost-effective!
YYouyoutiankongIt is a row of private houses, the equipment is a bit old, but the overall environment is good, the boss is very enthusiastic, the food in the store tastes very good, better than the surroundings
GGuest UserOutpost is really good choice for Weligama trip during the season. Next to the quiet part of thr beach, tasty (but not cheap) cafe, comfortable rooms and very helpfull staff, strong wifi.
But for offseason could be a bit offsided. No cafe around, nothing on the beach, need to walk to any store or activity.
Several points to make your stay more comfortable:
1. Roomservice upon request
2. In beachfront rooms the beds are not fixed to tables behind them (as you see on foto). So be carefull, it moves =)
3. Ask about foot shower location in front of the hotel. It's a bit hidden.
GGuest UserVery nice hotel with barbecue buffet
It's right by the sea, the atmosphere is great at night, and you can surf during the day
The room facilities are average, but OK. I recommend staying in that kind of house (the hotel's single-family villa is comfortable)
CClair SheehanJaga Bay Resort was fantastic! I arrived in town and the place I had booked did not have my booking and Jaga Bay came to the rescue.
This is a family run local business. Jaga the owner supports local children with their education through his own personal donations and those of past guests. I was being a sticky beak one morning as a crowd of women and children were having a little ceremony and thanking Jaga. He explained to me that since the tsunami the hotel and past guests supported orphaned children to finish their schooling. There are only two children left so now they support local children in need. This warmed my heart so much as I saw such genuine support and appreciation with everyone there.
I was in Weligama before a friend's wedding and was in desperate need for an under garment for my Sari. Jaga's wife and main office lady went above and beyond for me on new years eve...I managed to find an awesome tailor, personalised tuktuk driver's and first class service...and the best breakfast view!
I will always come back here.
Thank-you so much!
