Clean, comfortable room with friendly helpful staff on duty,

Comfy bed, clean, quiet first floor room at the rear of the lodge. Easy to find, 5 mins from M5 and lots to see and do in the local area. There are several eateries to grab some food although the travel lodge does offer a breakfast grab bag (additional cost). Reception staff welcoming and friendly.

Great value, clean and comfortable. Never had breakfast box because we are visiting family. Always meets our needs, and we will be back.

We arrived at 2.00 in the morning to be greeted by Nikki. She was ace ! greeted us with a smile and a super helpful attitude. Not only did she book us in with efficient and freindly banter she gave us the clearist instructions ever on how to navigate tired travelers to their rooms making doubly sure we had enough teas coffees ect to make our stay even better than standard. Shes a credit to your company and the Travel Lodge brand - you should promote her to front of houe customer sercice standards executive.

I arrived quite late, around 2am with my wife and friends and we were pretty tired as we'd just play a gig in Exeter. We play up and down the country and use Travelodge at lot but never one with such warm, welcoming person greeting us! Nikki let us in and was quick, efficient and funny whist still taking time to answer our questions and ensure we had everything we would need for our stay and that we knew what to do if we needed any extras. She provided us with some extra sachets too. At that time of night we are often greeted by people who are as tired as us and more often than not it shows but with Nikki she actually lifted our spirits and made us wonder why all at reception aren't like this. I'm pretty sure she would have been every bit as tired as us! She raised the bar for me and hope hope you can put a 'Nikki' in every one of your Travelodges....she was excellent!

We stay at Travelodges all over the country touring with our band. We use them because of price and in the main the welcome is poor. However Nikki greeted us at 2 am in the morning with a huge welcome and a smile. She absolutely went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome and comfortable. I would recommend you utilise Nikki yo train your staff. See attitude and customer service was what I would expect in a 5 star hotel.
