It was a lovely trip - skipper was very informative about the flora and fauna, and we even saw a sea eagle! The Pieman Heads are spectacular and we also enjoyed all the snacks - coffee and cake, packed lunch for the beach, plus tea and cheese and crackers on the way home. Really friendly and professional crew

Omg. This was one of my most magic and memorable travel experiences! I was pinching myself. From the moment I arrived on the car ferry, I knew I was in for a treat. The staff at the hotel were wonderful and the accommodation beautiful.... Comfy and stylish. Thanks to Skipper, Norm, for 2 brilliant boat cruises. I did both, The Arcadia 2 down to the Pieman River Heads where the wild Southern Ocean welcomed us and The Sweetwater out to Lovers Falls on the Savage River, where we also caught a glimpse of the sunken Croydon. I loved the walks at Corinna, too.... Total magic. Not enough time for the longer ones but I was there to relax and disconnect and I absolutely did that. Thanks to Matt and the team at the village. I am already telling all I meet that a stay at Corinna is an absolute must for a unique and total relaxing experience!

This was my third visit to Corinna. It’s quaint, quiet (except for the sounds of nature - heavy rain, birds etc). The rooms are old-fashioned and beautiful. Not many power points - because not much power! They are off grid. Shower pressure isn’t fantastic, but I am honestly splitting hairs there. Restaurant is great. Staff are GREAT! We did the Pieman River cruise and also the Sweetwater (Lovers Falls) trip. Captain both times was funny and informative. No internet or phone signal here. Which is awesome. If you are staying in winter you can get packaged dinners so you might want to self-cater for some meals. In high season the pub/restaurant is open for meals. It’s a special part of the world, recently featured in Undiscovered Tasmania so get there before everyone finds out about it.

Corinna is such a beautiful remote place, right in the wilderness and the reconstructed miners/piners’ cottages seem very authentic and well done - they are very comfortable and cosy. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the Pieman River cruise on the Arcadia is a must - most informative with stunning scenery.

We stayed 2 nights in Pete’s cabin aka the roadhouse. It is very old (1800s!), small, and basic but pretty comfortable with a nice heater and mini fridge. The small double bed had a big dip in the middle so not super comfortable but okay. Corinna makes all their own solar power and water is rain water so there is no internet or mobile phone service. The restaurant and bar are excellent and a very nice place to after a cold day out exploring the heads and hiking. Everyone is very friendly and it has a good feel to it. We went on the river cruise to the heads which was great. Had a good time.

I have been here quite a few times over the years and it has always been a wonderful and welcoming experience. I just love that you can switch off from all the distractions of the internet/social media and spend quality time enjoying tranquil scenery, interacting with people as much or little as you want and bonding with friends. The surrounding landscapes are breathtaking. The staff are knowledgeable and welcoming. The food served in the restaurant is surprisingly good considering its remote location and the bar has a good range of local drinks. Love the activities and the cottages are very warm, clean and comfortable. Corinna resort is a must to visit.

Stunning location in the wilderness, we couldn't love this place more. The staff and service was excellent, everyone was friendly and went out of their way to help eg providing extra crockery/cookware for the cabin, advice on what to do or just up for a chat. The location and the little restored cottages are gorgeous. We had a 2 bedroom one, great for 2 couples. Plenty of room in the lounge, comfy chairs and couch with a gas fire. The place was spotless. Leave your phone and technology in the car as there is no coverage. This was a blessing, first holiday with the family without scrolling! Board games, walks, sightseeing, photos, it was a real detox in so many ways. Bring all of your provisions though as there are no shops. Restaurant open from Oct to end of summer. We had one meal in the restaurant which was delicious (vegetarian for us) and went to the Happy Hour 5-6pm most nights. Of course, the Tarkine forest and Pieman River were the major drawcard. We had some rain (it's a rainforest after all) but lots of sun at other times. The walks are well marked and fairly easy, be prepared for all weather and have good shoes. We did both boat trips, the Arcadia 2 down the Pieman to the heads (4.5hrs) and then the Sweetwater cruise on a little boat for an hour into Savage River to see a sunken wreck. Lots of history of the pioneers, boats and flora and fauna (particularly the famous Huon Pines.) Highly recommend both but the long cruise is a must. There are kayaks for hire depending on rain forecasts, there's a fair current on that river so safety is essential. We came into Corinna via the North on a long windy dirt rd and departed by a 1 minute ride across the river on a punt to head for Zeehan and down the South. We stayed for 4 nights which meant we could really relax and not have to do everything in a rush. There are tent platforms and spaces for a few caravans and self contained vans and a boat ramp,

We had a lovely 2 night stay in the quaint Roadman’s Cottage. From the moment we arrived we found all of the staff friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and even entertaining (especially Matthew on the Arcadia 2)!! We enjoyed a lovely dinner in the tavern one night and completed several walks. The Forrest surrounding Corrina and the Pieman river feels ancient and mostly untouched. Next time we hope to hire some kayaks to explore.
