West Covina Hotels with Airport pickup service

The hotel we usually stay for a yearly conference in had no availability this time. I had spend quite a bit of time researching and based on criteria important to me decided on Best Western in West Covina. I didn’t expect much, and was really impressed with cleanliness, quietness and the friendliness of the staff. I would definitely stay here again especially if all the Covid protocols go away and we’d be able to use the jacuzzi and have a better breakfast.

Clean room and very quiet! If I ever go to West Covina again I will definitely get one room in this hotel. 100 % recommended!

The location is good. There was a Chinese team on the first day and Chinese porridge was available, which was very good. It is right next to Highway 10, making travel very convenient.

Clean, pleasant. Albeit a smell in the room but couldn’t figure out if it was a cleaning product or building product but wasn’t too bothersome. Good location as close to the freeway. Outside of LA which wasn’t too bad for us as we travelled around but if wanting to explore central LA it’s a good hour with traffic. Overall. Pleased with choice. Front of house were welcoming :)

Arrived at the hotel late at night and accidentally left my sneakers in the lobby. My husband went downstairs about 5 hours later to find them and ask the front desk girl, Janelle, if she had seen any sneakers. She said yes she did but she doesn’t know where they are. He asked if she put them in the lost and found and she said that it wasn’t her job to do that and that she wouldn’t touch those things. He asked why she didn’t call us after we checked in so we could come grab them. She responded that we were the ones that left them and it wasn’t her responsibility. I finally met him I’m the lobby and he told me about her bizarre behavior. I looked in the trash cans. I went outside and doing my shoes in the dirt behind a bush. I brought them into the hotel and showed her my shoes. I asked her why she would throw them in the dirt. At first she denied it then responded with I didn’t have time to deal with shoes. I told her her customer service was horrible and that she was lazy. She looked at me and said YOU ARE UGLY. I was shocked and speechless. We returned to the room and called down to talk to a manager. (Shock, no manager on duty for the whole weekend). The same girl, Janelle, said we were harassing her and she would call the cops to have us escorted off property. WHAT???? I called corporate and they took a report but never returned my call the rest of the weekend. I guess a bunch of rude, incompetent children are running this hotel and no management around to keep them in line.

This was within our price range. There’s other stays within too but parking is free (at your own risk), I felt like it was in a pretty safe area but shouldn’t leave belongings in your car. There’s a lot of fast food to offer nearby (chick fil a, in n out, etc). I also liked that it was close to the freeway. For where we wanted to go, 15-20 drive to rowland heights, 30 to Irvine wasn’t bad. And it came with free breakfast. Check in was fairly easy (they do charge card for deposit, $100). We did check in at midnight too though so… Stayed on the first floor, twin bed. I had a good sleep. We got the ADA bathroom so there was a lot of space. The shower head had a hole in it tho. It’s not squeaky clean but good enough. Toilet wasn’t dirty at least. Would suggest bringing slippers to shower with though. I wish I had slippers to shower in. Some thing I would like to complain about: -it was hot but AC blows out strong wind and blows the curtains up a lot. fan is actually really loud. No option to turn fan down. Since it was hot, we kept it on. -no extra outlet for plugs for charging near by the beds or I might have been blind -housekeeping didn’t make our beds but It didn’t bother us too much as we were leaving the next day anyways Overall, I would come back here.

No breakfast, room is big enough

Overall good! The rooms are relatively spacious and also hurry. The bathroom has a lot of space. Easy parking. Near the shopping mall, very convenient.
