I think they have changed owners or management, as every other time I have stayed has been great. Arrived to find my credit card had already been charged without being asked, not impressed! Then found no security chain or second locking device on the door, not unusual, but when I grabbed a water glass, found the lip imprints of the last person who drank from it!! Two of the three glasses where filthy. This is totally not acceptable in this current climate. I will never stay here again.

Good shower pressure, that's it, rude owners who need to maintain the place, dirty pool, garbage bins overflowing with rubbish everywhere you look, super unfriendly people and they don't service your room, rooms are nice and recently renovated but that was done by the previous owners. Pillows were sooooo thin and microwave was left filthy by another guest. We asked for a little jug of fresh milk and was given a tiny Tetra pack milk carton with a straw attached, they are clueless these guys.

Pool room turned into a cheap dark hotel room. Door not secure, located at front of property with the only window being unsafe louvres. Served by a child asked to speak to an adult for a refund. Went elsewhere. Photos online didn’t show the room being advertised. Not safe for a solo traveller, not nice for anyone to stay in either.

I recently travelled with 11 teenagers - yes 11! for a sporting event. The players stayed in the family rooms which were a perfect size. Beds were comfortable and there were enough powerpoints for everyone to charge! The rooms were immaculate on arrival. Bathroooms the cleanest we had ever seen in a motel. The managers could not have been more helpful - they checked in on us daily, genuinely interested in the girls day of play... ensuring towels were always available and bins emptied...COULD NOT RECOMMEND MORE ...if you want a great central location and CLEAN facilities at a GREAT PRICE... this is your best bet!

Basic budget room with standard amenities. Very clean, looks to be recently refurbished. Comfortable bed, and I must say the shower had possibly the most fantastic water pressure of any hotel/motel I had ever stayed in. Only stayed for one night, so no complaints. Simple check in/check out process, ample parking. Motel is located on a very busy road and under the flight path, so a little noisy. Otherwise fine.

I would compare staying at Casa Nostra to staying with friends in the best way possible. Absolutely fantastic staff who go above and beyond to help, clean, good location, comfortable beds, fantastic water pressure in the showers. 12/10 will stay again when we end up back in Mackay.

My husband stayed here for one night on his way to Brisbane. Rooms was clean and affordable. Staff is super friendly and helpful! Helped with unhinging the trailer. Would absolutely recommend! Thank you you for all the help!

Lovely renovated motel with helpful hosts, clean room, comfortable beds, easy parking, quiet. Everything you need for an overnight stay or more: microwave, fridge, toaster, kettle, cutlery, TV. This will be our stay from now on when we head North again. Thank you!
