The location of old swan is excellent, you can hear the birds chirping in the room in the early morning. Open the window and you can see the ancient streets and thatched houses. The location is great, out in the countryside. We had a complimentary upgrade to a room with a view of the golf course, which was very pleasant. We booked room only so didn't use the restaurant. The room was spotlessly clean, and well equipped with a super king sized bed and a wardrobe. The bed was comfy. We used the bar, which is laid out like a country house lounge with lots of comfortable settees and chairs. We only stayed one night enroute to the NEC in Birmingham and left early the next morning, but overall we enjoyed the hotel and will return for a longer stay in the future.
