Spring Creek Inn

This place is adorable! We stayed in the hotel part with a view of the back side of the hotel. We had 2 queen beds and a futon. Table chairs, microwave, small coffee pot, and mini fridge. Nice big tv, though not sure why you would want to watch tv being in this beautiful area. Nice size bathroom, big sink, nice tub. Huge living area with a chair. We had a back porch with table and chairs. Big field we were able to play baseball in, they had some kids playground equipment, volleyball net, and basketball net. We took advantage of volleyball and basketball in the evening, which we all enjoyed. While playing baseball we were able to watch 2 deer playing tag in the neighbors yard, that was beautiful! Negatives, parking lot is small, we have a big truck and I was nervous parking in the lot. The ends of the lot seemed better equipped for larger vehicles. Couple boards on the deck were broken on the one end. I feel like this is a safety concerned and should be addressed asap. On the one side of the deck the grass was extremely long, it could use some tlc. We were here for 2 nights. Overall, I would stay again!

We had an incredible stay at this hotel! It’s a family owned business and the owners, Nicole and Thad, truly go above and beyond. They were friendly, attentive, and always available to assist with anything we needed. We especially appreciated them guiding us toward sites and restaurants that are not the typical tourist spots. The location is perfect—close to all the local attractions ( Custer State Park, Mount Rushmore, Blacks Hills National Forest, etc). Our room was clean, spacious, and equipped with everything we needed for a great stay. Highly recommend for anyone looking for top notch hospitality and an ideal location! We will definitely be back!

Chose this place as it's just outside of Hill City and the outdoor amenities like a huge playground area, grills for anyone to use, horseshoe pits and clean nicely decorated cabins and rooms. Beds are nice to sleep on medium firmness. Family helped us with any questions etc

My buddy and I have been traveling around the country by motorcycle for close to 25 years now, and the Spring Valley Inn is pretty close to ideal for meeting our needs. We have Room 8 in the motel, which is bigger than my wife’s and my first apartment. And there is a lovely deck off the back where my friend and I sat out eating grocery store takeout. The people who work here are all great. This is not a fancy place, but it is exactly what we were looking for. Clean, affordable, and a pleasant, helpful staff. Only thing the place is missing is a hot tub! (And it really isn’t that kind of place… But it would be nice.)

Nice hotel in a great location just on the outskirts of the downtown area. This is an older property, but in good shape with friendly staff. Reasonable prices and very clean rooms. We actually stayed here in 2011, were in the area this year and returned.

Spring Creek Inn is an amazing place to stay. We book a kitchenette and it's a decent size room. We had a full size stove, microwave and dorm size fridge which was nice. There were two grills outside in the community yard for anyone to use. We were able to cook breakfasts and suppers. They had a had a huge play around that our child loved. I would recommend this place to anyone vacationing in the hills.
