-I do not recommend any Acclaim Holiday Parks. The owners J & S Chacko are before a matter with the State Administrative Tribunal. The owners evicted near 100 mainly pensioners from Kingsway Caravan Park in 2009. Reference - Internet - a)under - Kingsway Caravan Park 2009, headings - RECEIVED (cci sub 1) and WHEN A HOME IS A CASTLE ON SHAKY GROUND (ABC). b)under - Kingsway Caravan Park Submission George & Shirley Jackson 2009, heading - CCI SUB 6. c)under - CCI submissions 2009, heading - CCI SUB 94. d)under -Standing Committee Kingsway Caravan Park 2009, heading - SHIRE OF MOORA MINUTES. Question; did the owners J&S Chacko pay compensation to near 100 mainly pensioners from Kingsway caravan park when they evicted them in 2009??? NO!

Great little Caravan park tucked away in the Swan Valley. Nice and quiet , management great to deal with, nothing was to much trouble. Will be coming back soon and will be my only destination when in Perth from now on. Wineries and Cafes all around it.

Amenities are very old, difficult to hang out washing as lines were closed off. Disappointed with access to and from park as very busy road. Lots of plane noise as right under flight path. No indication of fees before arrival, over priced for ammenities used

Rude staff. After complaining and trying to talk to them my mate was threatened with being banned from all tourist parks in WA. Kicked out even though a few units down there was a very bad domestic violence dispute...they get to stay.

Not a pleasant stay• Stayed one night at this caravan park. Traveled around a lot of Australia from coast to outback & quite remote rest-stops/truck stop accomodation. This was definitely the worst stay I have had, the worst value for money, and felt the most unsafe. Biggest qualm was the close proximity of the Asbestos fence. Ive always been understood that asbestos fencing should be well maintained (painted and no broken bits). The fence was not painted and there were broken bits. The reception advised it is all up to spec - maybe there are differences between NSW and WA for Asbestos safety guidelines. Still felt uncomfortable being so close to the fence, especially near the bits that were broken. When asking if we could change we were told everywhere else was taken even though there were plenty of empty spots (powered but we had nothing but a tent so would of not used power) around the park away from the fence. Facilities were generally fine but quite rundown and not cleaned to the best. Usually not a big issue for myself when trying to stay in budget accomodation but with the price we paid expected perhaps a little better. Also not a major issue for myself but heads up it is a caravan park with semi-permanent residents and others being supported to stay. Observed fights occurring. Not a big issue for us but maybe for family travelling something they might not want to be around on a family holiday. Personally would recommend to stay elsewhere. It is situated conveniently near wineries etc but not worth staying here even with that in mind.

This park has so much potential if they employed proper cleaners and gardeners. Not having the bathroom facilities cleaned over a weekend is disgusting. People are filthy and leave crap around so for gods sake get it cleaned. Cigaret butts in the shows, clogged shower drains and general untidiness. The garden beds with a few flowers and less weeds could be a start. The location is fantastic for vineyard and brewery visits and thats about all. We had a powered site, which in itself was fine but rubbish accumulating under unkept trees (no-one cares) and turn of the century ablutions is a total turn off. If the owners took any pride at all this park could be a winner. It has the location but nothing that invites you to stay.want to come back.
