Promised shuttle did not arrive at the airport to collect us. Our calls to the provided phone number were not answered, and we were unable to leave a message as the mailbox was full. After about an hour, we managed to rouse someone, who told us to grab a cab, and we would be reimbursed. We have not been reimbursed. The host slept in on the next morning, so we missed breakfast, and had to get another cab to the airport. They charged us the full amount of the stay. The house is nice enough, though the bathroom door didn’t lock, which wasn’t comfortable, as it was a shared bathroom. Contrary to what we thought. Despite several attempts to contact the owners, we have been unable to, so beware. We are out of pocket for two cab fares and breakfast. Lack of communication and poor service is the worst we have ever experienced.

We booked Suite Smart Vancouver as the original location was advertised as 10 minutes from Vancouver Airport. We were never informed of location changes until Dwayne (the owner) was almost in West Vancouver, over 35 minutes away from Airport. We had arranged pick up from the Airport, with Dwayne arriving 45. Minutes late. No apology or explanation given. Our first stay was at a very nice house, but on our return 6 weeks later, were driven to a different location - and weren’t informed until we were almost there. This house was not as nice, and completely unsecured, as the front door lock was in the process of being replaced by Dwayne. The owners were fraudulent in the promised advertisement of the house, and didn’t seem to think they were in the wrong. The whole experience of our two stays was a complete disaster and can only be described as a circus. Not everyone should be a B and B host, especially when they are acting dishonestly and taking on too much which prevents them from operating a successful business. Our stays left us with a completely unpleasant experience leaving Canada.

If you’re after an extra bit of luxury to what seams to be a B&B, then this is worth the visit. Location in West Vancouver is so peaceful and although it’s a bit of a walk to the local restaurants, I’d be happy to stay hear again.

Lovely B and B. Greeted by owner. We were slightly late arriving due to luggage collection, which was no problem. The room was clean, the bathroom a shared bathroom, but we were the only ones using it. The house is beautiful, and had a short walk around the grounds before breakfast. Online check in before we arrived, breakfast was served on time and was very welcome and tasty.

When we arrived at the rented house, we were able to open the gate and then the front door with the codes that were sent to us. The house was completely empty, there were no beds or other furniture / cupboards in the bedrooms. The house stank and was full of junk. It looked like a horror house from a movie. We thought that the house might have been squatted, and after many hours of wasted time we left again. We have sent many telephone calls and emails to 'Suite Smart West Vancouver Luxury Rentals', without any response, also no response from *******, through whom we had rented the house, via the internet in Belgium. So we looked for another hotel in Vancouver where there was still room. 2 days later the rental amount of 620CAD was deducted from my visa! Pure fraud... After many emails and phone calls to *******, we only received a short response that they did not understand our problem..., despite the emails with photos of the house and a video of the dirty conditions, no beds, no bed linen... etc. ??? NEVER BOOK VIA *******, AND CERTAINLY DO NOT RENT VIA Suite Smart West Vancouver Luxury Rentals, in Vancouver!!!
