I drop one star from my rating due to these things: - Location: Not good. Maybe some people like Westerland, but I don't. It's much, much better, nicer, classier, Kampen or Keitum. Westerland is not an upscale village/neighborhood. Is it not fancy at all. I was expecting that maybe it's why I was disappointed with the location. - Views: I am not sure if there is any room with a good view (I don't think so considering the hotel's location). But, my room has terrible views. - Sauna, Spa: Just average from what I've seen in other similar hotels/spas in Germany. - Gym: Average. Nice but too small and limited. Now the good things: - My room was very big with a nice decor. Super big bathroom which I love and super clean. The towels were another downside. Not luxury hotel towels level. - The hotel in general, the social living rooms, the corridors are super cozy and nicely decorated. - I didn't eat breakfast so can't say anything about it. - Service ok, not outstanding.

Bester Service während des gesamten Aufenthalts: das großartige Personal macht hier den Unterschied. Gepflegte Zimmer im englischen Stil mit vielen Annehmlichkeiten: frisches Obst bei Anreise, Espresso-Maschine im Zimmer, Bademantel. Kleine Tasche mit Badehandtuch für den Ausflug zum Strand. Der Bahnhof ist fussläufig erreichbar, ebenso die Strandpromenade. Die Bar ist bis 1:00 Uhr nachts geöffnet. Bistro und Restaurant im Haus sind sehr zu empfehlen. Auch auf Sicherheit wird hier großen Wert gelegt. Frühstück mit großer Auswahl an Gerichten, die a-la-Minute frisch zubereitet werden, sonntags sogar bis 14:00 Uhr. Sehr sympathische Verabschiedung bei der Abreise. Ich habe hier jeden Moment sehr genossen.

Wir möchten einfach mal unsere Begeisterung kundtun und somit Andere ermutigen, sich diesen Luxus zu gönnen. Die Ausstattung hebt sich schon mal von allen anderen Hotels ab, ist einfach nur edel. Aber erstmal der Service von ALLEN Mitarbeitern. Von der Reinigungskraft bis zum Hoteldirektor sind alle äußerst Herzlich und man merkt ihnen die Freude an, hier zu arbeiten und die Gäste zu verwöhnen. Besonders die beiden wunderbaren Damen aus dem Spa-Bereich, Sina und Nadine, die einem wirklich das Gefühl geben, was Besonderes zu sein und der liebe Max, der beim Zubereiten des super leckeren Abendessens jeden Schritt mit Charme erläutert, sind ein Knaller. Und beim Frühstück wird, ohne mit der Wimper zu zucken, auf jeden Wunsch eingegangen. Besser geht es einfach nicht! Wir danken, dass wir für ein paar Tage diesen Traum erleben durften.

Ich war mittlerweile zum 3. Mal im HSH…und ich freue mich schon jetzt auf das 4. Mal im nächsten Jahr. Man kommt an und fühlt sich sofort wohl. Ich äußerte im Vorfeld den Wunsch nach dem gleichen Einzelzimmer wie im letzten Jahr und das HSH konnte mir den Wunsch erfüllen. Das Zimmer ist geräumig und edel eingerichtet…Ich bin gespannt, wann ich bei einem meiner nächsten Aufenthalte auch ein neu renoviertes Zimmer bewohnen darf. Das Wichtigste jedoch, das Zimmer ist absolut sauber, richtig zum Wohlfühlen. Das Frühstück mit Tisch Service ist vom Feinsten. Endlich besteht auch die Möglichkeit im Freien zu frühstücken, sofern das Sylter Wetter es zulässt…ein weiterer Pluspunkt für das HSH. Die gesamte Belegschaft vom Zimmermädchen über die Rezeption bis zu Hardy‘s Bar kreieren einen Aufenthalt mit dem Service eines 5* Hauses verbunden mit der Sylter Leichtigkeit.

Wunderbar erholsam, der beste Service, den man sich vorstellen kann, geschmackvoll und fein, familiär, schöner Spa-Bereich, sehr gutes Essen - einfach ein bezaubernder Ort zum Wohlfühlen! Ich komme bestimmt bald wieder!!! Erstmal sind die Akkus wieder voll!

Zentral (fussläufig vom Bahnhof und zur Promenade sowie Einkaufsmeile) gelegen, sehr schön klassisch eingerichtet, tolles Servicepersonal. Frühstück leider nur a la carte, da muss man Zeit mitbringen (und jeden Tag einen frischen Geldsack), qualitativ aber top! Insgesamt trotz besten Services sehr teuer, im internationalen Vergleich nicht angemessen. Wir kommen sicherlich trotzdem wieder!

Der Safe hat nicht funktioniert und obwohl wir mindestens 5x bei der Rezeption angefragt haben, wurde immer wieder nur das gleiche ausprobiert und auch immer nur auf unsere Rückfrage hin. Auch wurde das Problem nicht an die Kollegen weitergegeben und wir konnten immer wieder von vorne beginnen. Die finnische Sauna war defekt (ärgerlich aber kann passieren). Ansonsten zentrale Lage und schönes uriges Hotel.
