Vacation Village at Weston, Fort Lauderdale

We stayed for six nights in Weston and had a mixed experience overall. Unfortunately, the room was not clean when we arrived late in the evening. The floors were dirty and covered in hairs, and it looked as though they had been mopped with a dirty mop. The porch area also had a distinct smell and very sticky floors, which made it uncomfortable to use. We also found several items left behind, including breakfast cereal behind the bedroom curtains and belongings under the cupboard. As we arrived very late and had cleaning supplies with us from travelling through the Keys, I cleaned the room myself rather than contacting the hotel. In fairness, they may have resolved this if given the opportunity, but housekeeping on arrival is definitely an area that needs improvement. Check‑in at the front desk was acceptable—nothing unpleasant, but not particularly welcoming. We were also charged more at check‑in than the price shown on Trip.com. I contacted Trip.com and they resolved the discrepancy quickly. The room itself was excellent in size. We stayed in a king room with a balcony, which was spacious and comfortable. The hotel’s facilities were a highlight: • The pool area was lovely and open until 11pm. • The hot tub was huge and kept at a perfect temperature. • BBQs and a fire pit were available and added to the overall experience. Location The location was brilliant. It offered easy access to the Everglades, Miami, and Fort Lauderdale, making it a great base for exploring South Florida. Despite the significant cleanliness issues on arrival, the hotel’s location, room size, and facilities were excellent. With improvements to housekeeping and a more welcoming check‑in experience, this could be a fantastic place to stay.

We were locked outside of our room during last day of our stay for almost an hour. We were almost late to our cruise because of that.

The service was okay however there were no salt and pepper, no house keeping to clean the premises. No sheets or extra pillows for the sofa bed. Previously staying there it was a bit better.

We stayed here the day before we left on our family cruise and again once we returned. Absolutely wonderful for our little family. We took full advantage of the pool and amenities. The kids had a blast. We even had Walmart groceries delivered and utilized the kitchen to save costs. Easy check in and check-out process. We checked in quite a bit early because we got off our ship fairly early-- without ANY issue at the resort! We would hands down stay here again.

Easy expeditious check-in, large apartments, well equipped kitchen, cleanliness exceptional, very large pool, ample parking. Lots of restaurants and shopping within 10-15 min drive. Highly recommended for family vacation

The cleanliness was excellent. Unfortunately, this cleanliness uses too much chlorine around the toilets. This chlorine was left for extra disinfection and my pants where stained. We claimed the damage and the manager offered a late checkout.

It was a absolute pleasure to stay at this villa, as it met our families needs and was well maintained clean and the pool and Jacuzzi was a God Send!!! Loved it! I do plan on returning.

The rooms are set up nicely, great layout for multi family or group trips. Parking is terrible if you’re not back to the resort early. Other than that I would stay again.
