We booked a 3 night stay. A double room with a balcony. On arrival at reception we met Lucy who was very informative and told us we were upgraded to a suite. Our suite 318 was unreal. In the living room we were greeted with welcoming petit fours and chocolates on the bed. We had a beautiful view of the waterfront. The suite was spotless. We went to the Dry Dock bar for something to eat. The food was great. We had picked out a few restaurants in Wexford town to try but the food was that good we ate in the hotel every night. We had day trips out but returned to have a swim in the lovely well kept leisure centre every evening. We were entertained on Wednesday night with music in the bar. Breakfast was good with an ample supply of everything you could wish for. All staff were very friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. I don't like naming names but I feel I have to. Keith your bar manager was just the best. What a star. I hope his golf outing went well. Two servers were exceptional Alicia and another girl who's name I didn't get. They had both done their leaving cert and were awaiting results. I hope all went well for them and they were happy with their results. Girls thanks so much. I would highly recommend this hotel. The picturesque setting, the high standard of rooms, the gardens, but the staff were unreal. Thanks for a wonderful break.

Repeat visit (also in 2022 but I have not been reviewing recently). Absolutely lovely stay. Bar manager Keith was most welcoming, makes you feel as if you are part of the Ferrycarrig family. Bar staff professional and friendly. Breakfast staff very welcoming, always pleased to help, lovely atmosphere there in the morning. From the moment you check in you are looked after. Beautiful view from the rooms, couldn't ask for more. My preferred hotel of choice in Wexford. Thankyou all.

The Ferrycarrig Hotel is outstanding in every way. Everything about it is what you expect when you go on holiday - the rooms are lovely - comfortable bed, shower is superb, the view of the estuary, is fabulous, breakfast offers fantastic choice and most of all the friendly and courteous staff. We have spent many weekends here and are now looking forward to spending Christmas here this year . Congratulations to Derek and all of the staff especially to Keith in the dry dock bar and the very friendly staff on reception not forgetting Derek the night porter.
