Hotel Rex was a joy. We travelled as part of a coach party. The sea front location in this lovely seaside town is perfect. It's opposite an old fashioned fun fair, ideal for young and old! The music from the carousel stopped at 6 pm but we couldn't hear it from within the hotel anyway. The quality of the pre-selected meals was above what we expected and the choices were good. The front of house, waiting and cleaning staff were attentive without being intrusive. Ready smiles, cheerful, very friendly and polite. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The lift covers all floors. Whilst in Weymouth, do try the land train. Good fun! Simply put, a great stay for all ages.

Simply perfect! The location was perfect for a seaside stay, just what I was looking for. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout and went above and beyond to be lovely. Our room was clean, comfortable, and very quiet – I slept really well. Great facilities too, with a generous selection of tea, coffee, and even some biscuits provided, which was a lovely touch. Overall, excellent value for the price. I’d definitely book again!

Stayed for 3 night break room on top floor with view of beach . Everything needed in room including tea/ coffee and biscuits!very clean and tidy. All staff were exceptional and always cheerful. Breakfast excellent and always fresh and hot . Menu was very good and food again excellent value for money. Location was perfect for visit to town and local sites. Would definitely book here again .

Hotel was immaculately clean. Dealt well with vegetarian needs. Dinner was excellent. Great variety. Breakfast was also excellent with vegetarian options. Really friendly young waiting staff. Reception staff also very helpful. Location right on the sea front. Scored a 4 as in a single room the bed was also a single and was 3ft. Lots of stairs. Be aware if you are not so mobile. There is a lift but was busy.

I had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Rex, it's in a great location, the rooms are clean and comfortable and the food is excellent. The staff are without exception friendly, helpful and efficient, I can't praise them highly enough.

Stayed for 4 nights at this lovely Hotel where all the staff were friendly and welcoming,. The public areas were beautifully clean and tidy. Our room which was on the top floor, (lift available) so good view over the bay, was not large but we had everything that was needed and the bed was very comfortable. Only fault was the mixer shower pressure over the bath, the hot water could do with a pump. Could not fault the full English breakfast which freshly cooked to order and the evening meal we had was delicious. We enjoyed our stay so much that we booked to stay again in September before we left.

This hotel has a great location on the seafront but unfortunately they will not let you have a Seaview room even when you have precooked and paid for one. It's clean but very basic and I think restaurant staff need more training as meal times felt rushed as staff were clearing plates away before you have finished eating. I also got told off like a child for " getting sand on the carpet" considering its a seaside hotel opposite the beach ???

Great hotel at a great price, and very kind and accommodating staff. After booking they phoned me to confirm a special request (cycle storage) which was very much appreciated. The breakfast was first class too. Highly recommended.
