The Europa

Friendly atmosphere from Keith and Yvonne - very comfortable and clean en-suite room with a king size bed. The breakfasts are very tasty and filling with great choices. Close to the sea front and a short walk into Whitby town centre. Street parking with a permit that The Europa provides. Would stay here again - book direct with The Europa for a better deal

We had Room 4, which is the largest. Best shower and cubicle we have found in a B and B, comfy bed with good pillows and smelt so fresh. Very clean and tidy. The owners were very friendly and the cooked breakfast was excellent with ample choices. Definitely will go back.

Fabulous B&B Yvonne and Keith make you feel welcome. The room was lovely and had every thing you could need including Yorkshire tea and hot chocolate! Keith's breakfast went down a treat and had lots of different options . Definitely will be returning to the Europa.

Excellent stay. Extremely friendly, clean hotel .great location . Will definitely return to this hotel if visiting whitby. Definitely recommend. Best night's sleep I've had in ages , the lady even washed and ironed my jeans (thanks again !) Great breakfast to start thr day ahead .

The Europa is a lovely hotel. Keith and Yvonne are the perfect hosts, know lots about the area and make a great breakfast! Rooms are clean and comfortable with full size toiletries in the bathroom and a tray with plenty of tea, coffee and milk. Parking is by a scratchcard/permit scheme (you get the card off Keith/Yvonne) It costs £5 for 2 days and we were lucky enough to grab a space right outside the hotel. Location is great as well, with everything within walking distance. Thank you for an enjoyable stay, we would definitely return.

My partner & I often go to Whitby but the usual place we stay at was booked up so decided to stay here and so glad we did . We arrived just before 10 am and was just expecting to get a parking permit and go off for the day, but we where told our room was available if we wanted to check in now, what a bonus! The guest house was cosy, clean and very quite. The breakfast was scrumptious which set us up for the day. The bed was so comfortable which gave us the best nights sleep. It’s situated close enough to the harbour but far enough away to not be bothered by all the tourists. The owner Keith was flying solo, as his wife was away, so with help from his son and sister they made us feel welcome and looked after us brilliantly! What a gem we have found and will definitely book direct again next time!
