The location is absolutely stunning. Literally right on the beautiful beach. This in itself deserves 5 stars. However the lodge is older and one can feel it’s getting on in years. The sofas in our room were sagging and had stains - just felt icky. The bathroom was also old. It looks like they tried to modernise it with a grey coat of paint, but it still looks tired. There wasn’t one hook in our bathroom for any towels and we couldn’t even hang up the hand towel. Apparently there are some rooms that have been upgraded. Breakfast was delicious with a good choice, but once again the dining room felt a bit old and tired and grubby.

Stayed in the Neptune room which was spacious with a large comfy bed. All facilities needed including a dining table and kitchenette Beautiful location, well maintained garden and private access to the beach. Well located for a stroll along the beach

We had a family trip to the Pink Lodge and was wonderful! Tin and his team were very welcoming and attentive. The rooms are very spacious and have lovely sea views. Overall just perfect!

Out dated is definitely in need of a lick of paint. Breakfast was fine but the view was amazing. Just a bit too far from bars and restaurants to walk and there are NO taxi's. Wilderness has little to offer compared to Hermanus, but the village is nice enough fir food and drinks.
