My husband and I just hosted our wedding at Mount William station after staying at the property last year and falling in love with both the venue and staff. Our 3 day stay was incredibly memorable and made so effortless and enjoyable by Nadia, Tim, Mathilde and the entire Mt William team. Elegant, grand and relaxed! A stay at Mt William Station stops the clock and leaves the pressures of the world at the front gate. Rich in history and style. The chef inspired and presented food is amazing as is the scenery. The Station is a place where the grand days of Australia’s pastoral homesteads meets relaxed modern country hospitality. Definitely a must-visit! Our room was elegant and comfortable. Bathroom was clean with good amenities The gardens were well tended and very relaxing The staff went beyond, non intrusive, friendly and we could not fault. The best of the Grampians. We will go back !

My family and I enjoyed an unforgettable 2-night stay at this charming estate, Mt. William, nestled in the heart of the Grampians. From the warm welcome to the exquisite 3-course dinners, every moment was delightful. We loved sharing drinks and stories with fellow guests, adding a friendly, communal vibe. Our mornings were spent walking in the crisp air, surrounded by breathtaking mountains and ancient trees that left us in awe. This serene escape offered the ideal blend of nature, relaxation, and indulgence. My only recommendation would be to stay longer and truly immerse yourself in the experience! Perhaps enjoy the pool, sauna, tennis court, and garden games available at Mt William. Plus, explore the surrounding areas, such as a visit to Dunkeld's Royal Hotel Pub for lunch or dinner, a hike in the Grampians, or an indulgent massage. We left feeling grateful for our time here and eager to return—highly recommende for anyone seeking a peaceful retreat in country Victoria!

We spent a couple of delightful nights at Mount William Station. The old homestead has undergone recent renovation and is still a working farm. Overall the accommodation was very good and well appointed. The facilities also include a swimming pool, sauna, tennis court and mini golf course. The inclusive gourmet breakfast and three course dinners were excellent and would be varied each day. We enjoyed chatting with our fellow guests over pre-dinner drinks in the lounge before being invited to the dining room giving it all an old world ambience. Special thanks to Tim (and partner) and Chef Kevin for the exemplary service and making us feel at home.

We stayed at Mount William for the weekend with 3 other families & loved every minute of it. The homestead is so spacious & homely & has more than enough space for all of us. The kids love running around the grounds playing games & having a hit of tennis or golf - we barely saw them all weekend they were so busy! The food is amazing. Every meal was a stand out. We love all the staff there & can't wait to return next year.

Rare to get this kind of opportunity to stay at a working pastoral station with roots back to the earliest colonisation of these parts by European settlers . Mt William Station would be an incredible venue for any private function such as weddings but, when not booked out it's open to couples or groups with a range of accommodation styles. We had a great weekend staying at the main house and its a privilege to get to sense the history that exudes from every pore of this place. It still feels more like staying at a family home than at a hotel and a tour by Will, The Homestead's current owner and custodian was a highlight, for sure. A truly wonderful weekend escape, great food from the in-house chef accompanied by a wine list of some of the great local offerings.

Garry and I had the pleasure of celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary at Mount William Station. We loved our experience and could not fault the wonderful staff and the very talented chefs. All of our meals were outstanding. The home is beautiful and well set up for guests whilst also maintaining many elements of its past. Guests are able to learn about the history of the property as well. Staff were very accommodating to our needs. I would highly recommend this property.

What a wonderful place to getaway while hiking at Gariwerd. Starting with the exceptional warm welcome from Nat on arrival we were treated to a truly memorable experience. The accommodation was superb (we opted for the Elizabeth Suite), with a comfy bed, full kitchen and our own private lounge/dining area. This gave us the flexibility to cook, as well as to sample the amazing delights cooked up by the talented onsite chef, Dean. Four nights was simply not enough.
