The Freedom Hotel

This is definitely a 2star hotel but it tries hard to There is a helpful front desk- from 8 am to 10 pm. When you get there, you’ll get a threatening note about towels and keys but that’s not enforced. Towels are plentiful and includes pool/beach towels. Towels are changed daily but sheets only 3 days. The pool is fine and includes the process of renovation. There’s a hot tub that we didn’t use. There are no balconies or railings to hang wet stuff, just a cute hook in the shower that doesn’t work real well. Our king bed had 2 separate pieces leaving a dip in the middle and a bed frame that I got bruises from. Great location- for walking- and in general. And price was fantastic. Including free parking. But use the address for the old Pelikaan Hotel because the posted address on Frederickstrasse won’t get you there. Actual location is on Arubastraat , opposite one entrance to Holanda Village. Be sure to close the shutters against the morning sun on the first floor. Toiletries included but no conditioner. Shampoo is fairly harsh. There is a small mini- fridge, barely adequate for 2 people. I hope family rooms have a bigger one. Very stark decor but extremely clean. There’s a safe but no dresser but a closet. Also plenty of street noise from the busy street. Overall- a good value

Excellent and historical location . Walking distance to Emma bridge and to many good restaurants and museums Friendly and attentive staff Cold ac, safe deposit box, electric kettle. Clean room. Didn't use the pool, but it was a nice added feature

This hotel was reasonably priced and perfectly located (in Otrobonda, very close to the floating bridge to Punda). Very easy to walk to some of the museums, shops, and forts. The air conditioning was great, rooms were clean. The shower in my unit was a bit run down, but that was my only issue. Oh! And they have a little pool with a swimup bar, a small "jacuzzi pool" (no heat or jets, just another little pool). And plenty of places to sit back there in the shade. Wi-Fi was good.

Nice room, amazing people (staff members) security staff was really friendly and helpful. Nice place to relax, no bartender at the pool do that was unfortunate but except that everything was amazing.

Attention! Don't book with them! We had a booking that was a pay later rate and no canellation fees until 1 day prior to arrival. Agaist the regulations, they charged my credit card directly at the booking date. Then I had to cancel 10 days prior to arrival due to Corona. Now they refuse to refund!! I booked through **********, they also don't help with this issue. Big fraud! Avoid!

Clean rooms, nice and friendly people. Close to Willemstad. We recommand this hotel for familie and friends, the swimmingpool was a little bit small but that was no problem for us. We had a very nice vacatian at the freedom hotel.
