Straight up ghetto. Stripped out cars a block down the road. Looks like it hasn't been kept up(weeds and trash). They charge your card before you see place in person. Then refuse to refund. Still disputing a month later. Not as advertised. Valle Hospitality is not your friend.

When we first pulled into the property, I was rather disappointed by the outside appearance. It looked kind of run down. It is an older house, but I think they have done a good job of making it comfortable. If you are expecting a “super-classy” bed and breakfast, you will be disappointed, but if recognize that this is an older home that was never intended to be stately, you might be pleasantly surprised. We stayed in the main house (I guess there are some “out buildings” to stay in, but I don’t know anything about these). We had what I would call a double room. We entered into the room you can see pictured, and through the door. There was another bedroom. Because it was just my wife and myself, we only used the room pictured. On the other side of the door in the background, there was a bathroom. My only complaint is that the water pressure coming out of the showerhead was extremely weak. The breakfast was very good. The coffee was only OK. We met a couple from Germany and a couple from California at breakfast and had good conversations with them. Again, if you are expecting a posh stay, you will be disappointed, but if you understand that this was never a stately house, you might be pleasantly surprised.

Stay away from this place. The website pictures are a muse. It is a run-down dump operated by a young couple who haven't figured out how to run a professional B&B. It is poorly maintained, dirty, and lacking in amenities. The rooms are hot and dirty, and the place looks like it was abandoned for years and suddenly reopened in its dilapidated condition. The only good things about it were the breakfast each morning and the proximity to the Grand Canyon. There are many other lodging options for travelers to the GC area to choose from that are better than this. We were here with another couple and wanted to flee the minute we remotely checked in with the absentee owners, but they were not willing to refund our deposit, so we had to stay or lose all our money.

This was a great place to stay for a family of 6. It was nice for us all to stay in a room together. The breakfast was amazing and the owners are very kind and accommodating. We will be back in the future. Close to the canyon and owners shared tips for our visit.

What a lovely B&B. Our rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious. We loved the backyard space with the bonus of a dog to love on. The breakfast was delicious. Short drive to GCNP. Would highly recommend this place. Hope we get to visit again.

Amazing place & amazing people! This was my first experience staying at a B&B and I will definitely be back!! The new owners were very attentive to our needs. They were friendly and extremely knowledgeable, offering us a plethora of information about the area and guiding us to all the best sites and activities. They definitely showed that they care about their guests and take pride in ownership of this lovely place. The B&B itself offers multiple different room options and was clean and cozy. Each room is unique and I love that each has a private entrance as well as direct access to the common areas. Breakfast was delicious and served promptly, allowing us plenty of time to enjoy our daily adventures. After our busy days, my daughter and I spent quality time playing cards and enjoying the comfort of the common area. There are so many more details that made this one of the best stays ever for us but the title of this review says it all… we loved it so much we extended our stay! Huge thank you to these young owners for making our experience truly memorable ❤️

This was our first stay at a bed and breakfast and it will not be our last thanks to the wonderful experience we had at The Dumplin Patch. The owners were friendly and incredibly knowledgeable about the Grand Canyon and the surrounding areas. The breakfast was one of the best we have had in a long time and the common space was a cozy place to relax and connect with fellow guests from around the world. Our experience was truly something special and we would highly recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a unique and memorable stay. We are already looking forward to our next stay at The Dumplin Patch!

Had a great experience staying at this B&B. Its proximity to the Grand Canyon was worth the stay. New owners were extremely welcoming and made our stay memorable. Breakfast was fantastic everyday. We definitely plan on returning next year.

This bed and breakfast is apparently under new ownership as of December 2022. Two couples, friends on vacation together, chose to stay here after past fun B&B experiences and seeing the photos on DP's charming website. I booked the rooms and my telephone interaction with the owner was pleasant. Having several B&B experiences in the past, we were eager to meet the new owners. Upon arrival, we learned a "remote check-in" was the case instead. Our accommodations were nothing like the website photos. We stayed in a cabin with a window air conditioner so loud we could not sleep. The other couple stayed in the Mariposa Suite with no air conditioning at all. It is apparent the owners have attempted to update this b&b, but they have far to go. There are places for smoke alarms but no smoke alarms. The courtyard is filthy with work equipment in it. On the positive side, the cabin air conditioner was changed when we called the owner. The thermometer in the main cabin was fixed. However, if we could have gotten our money back we never would have stayed the first night. Grand Canyon is a place that draws people from around the world. We met families from Germany, Switzerland, the Netherlands, and France. What a sad view of America they have at a place so poorly kept. These young owners have an opportunity to run a business they can be proud of. I hope they step up to the plate.
