This was a wonderful little B & B very close to the campus of William & Mary and also Colonial Williamsburg. It is right on a fairly busy street, but the house itself it set back so the traffic noise wasn't a problem. We also chose a room at the back of the house. The breakfasts were amazing. They have a chicken coop in the back which provides fresh eggs daily! The room we stayed in, the Russell House, had a comfy queen-sized bed. It was a bit tall, but they had little step stools on either side of the bed. The bathroom was clean and functional. Although our room was somewhat small, there are many common areas in the rest of the house that are available for guests to use for reading and relaxing. It was an easy walk to nice restaurants. Parking was available in back of the house, but also on the side street in back of the house.

One of the best in our experience. Special kudos to the lady who cooks the breakfast and her Mom who does lots of things. We look for friendly people contacts and cozy places to end the day with a wine and cheese. The Manor has several spots like this plus the freshest eggs on the planet.

Our 3 night stay was a comfortable and well maintained respite. The home is beautiful with lots of comfy couches and chairs to relax in after visiting local attractions in the 90 degree heat. The breakfasts were delicious with special touches and fresh fruit and herbs from the garden. My husband fell in love with the coffee/cappuccino machine! Cleanliness was top notch, the softess sheets and so fresh smelling. Hot showers! The staff were so personable and conversave. Only downside was no live TV for local news. But that is only a matter of preference. You can stream using you own service. Directly across the street from William and Mary College. About a mile or so from Colonial Williamsburg. We walked to and from. Short car trip to Jamestown and Yorktown. Lots of resturants on Richmond Road. Cooks Burgers diner an Food for Thought resturant were excellent.

I was here for week and the whole time was delightful-greatly exceeding my expectations. Val's specially prepared breakfast were unique, creative and delicious-fresh eggs from here hens every day. the room was spacious, quiet and the beds most comfortable. I was at a conference at W&M so it was very convenient to walk there each day. Also so close to historic area, it was nice not to worry about finding parking. There was coffee all the time and snacks. Also an honor bar for beer and wine-good selection. You could tell from all the little things that this B&B offers that the owner had thought through every aspect of what makes a quest comfortable and welcome. Thank you for a nice experience.

Was a quick overnight visit with my daughter for college touring. The home had a lot of charm, and the bedroom, while small, had everything we needed. We loved the location- a very quick walk to the W&M campus and easy walk to shops in Colonial Williamsburg. A parking spot out back was incredibly convenient. The breakfast was delicious with eggs from the chickens and lemon-curd whipped cream for the waffles, and the staff member was very helpful. We will return!

Beautiful place, excellent chef prepared breakfast. Very convenient location which was close to everything. Quiet setting and host was very accommodating. Would definitely stay there again and highly recommend to others.

Our stay at Williamsburg Manor was perfect. We were on a road trip down the east coast and I didn’t want to stay in large brand hotels and this bed and breakfast really hit the spot. The house is decorated well, the bedroom was comfortable and having the use of the downstairs rooms makes the stay both interesting and comfortable. Refreshments are available throughout with great coffee on tap and breakfast was freshly made by Stephanie who was lovely and looked after us. I recommend staying here and would stay again.

I loved this house. The room that we stayed in was the Benjamin Powell House Red. Though it was small, it was most excellent for two people. And the decor was stunning. The bed was so comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, and the host Laura was an amazing cook, and preparer. 🥰. It was very close to Colonial Williamsburg, and if we return back to Virginia, we most definitely will stay here again. We happen to have left my husband’s orthopedic pillow when we stayed and it had my deceased aunt’s embroidered pillow case on it. The pillow we could replace but the pillowcase, we could not, and Laura was most gracious to mail it back to me. That says a lot about a place that cares about your stay. Thank you, The Sweet’s”.

We have visited this Inn many times over the years and loved it, but were disappointed this visit. Upon arrival, there was no key left and no one answered our phone call or text message. When we got into our room and there were sheets, but no blanket for the cot we needed to use and we could not find any in the chest of drawers or closet. Breakfast used to be family style with the cook conversing with the visitors, but this year it was a buffet. The table was not set, the cook did not converse, the food was unimpressive and the same both mornings (scrambled eggs, sausage, and grits), and (while we don't mind) we had to bus our own plates which was unlike past visits or any B&B we have stayed in. The hospitality was not the same it has been in years past, which is the biggest disappointment as we come to bed and breakfasts for this reason.
