I have wanted to stay here a few times when I have visited Wimbourn, however the place is either full or rather over my budget. However this time on looking there was a premium room available, suggestions of such things as a copper bath. On arrival it was easy to park and check in, my room was on the top floor, afraid I was not lucky with the copper bath, but the room looked fine and was quite large. Now I can't complain about the comfort of the bed or the power of the shower, but I am afraid I question how clean the room is. I found the room did have a musty smell coming from the bathroom, I noticed that the mirrors and such things are covered in layers of dust, it was clear that a decent clean had not been done for a very long time. I'm afraid this has put me off and I would not stay again.

Oodles of warmth and comfort - a sumptuous room and fab customer service. Car parking available, town centre location - perfectly quiet, but appreciated the complimentary ear plugs if they were needed. We opted for diunner at the !777's sister restaurant and were not disappointed. Happy to recommend and to stay again.

Where to start? This room (7) is drop dead gorgeous. Roll top copper bath, HUGE for poster bed, big shower and lovely big room. It’s decorated perfectly with loads of individual features. Spotlessly clean, comfortable bed, what else could I have! I felt like a Princess in this room!

The rooms are beautiful and well appointed. The hotel is in the same group as the Olive Branch just a 2 minute walk away. Here you can get an array of lovely pub food in great surroundings served by pleasant and extremely polite staff. Unfortunately the internet signal was unavailable at the hotel due to the inclement weather we have recently had. I spoke with the duty manager Samantha at the Olive branch who was empathetic and managed to turn a bad situation around. I stay regularly in the town and will definitely be using both the hotel and pub again Thank you Samantha 👍👌

We spent a week here in December and we were overwhelmed by the kindness and hospitality. A particular mention goes to Greg, Lianne and the team at the Olive Branch where we enjoyed a fabulous breakfast every morning. Sarah at the rooms was so kind and helpful. Thank you for making our stay so comfortable. Our 2 dogs were welcomed just as warmly.

Fantastic location, warm welcome from Sarah. Rooms are well equipped, quirky, very clean and super comfortable. An excellent breakfast just around the corner at The Olive Branch too - what a great arrangement. We would definitely return.
