The hotel is well located in the centre of town however parking and access by car was a big problem; we had to park a mile away. Our room (and those of other travellers) wasn't ready on arrival. The room was in the main building; the bed was comfortable and the room had usual amenities. The shower was a little dated. We used the bar which was comfortable although overly busy due to two large parties booked in for events that evening. The bartender, Micky, coped really well with the large number of customers from the events. Breakfast included a good choice of hot and cold options and service was good. We felt the hotel tariff was over-priced even allowing that we visited for the Christmas market in December.

We had a delightful stay at this hotel! The room was very comfortable and cosy, providing the perfect retreat after a day of exploring. Situated conveniently close to the bustling high street and within walking distance of numerous attractions, the hotel's location couldn't have been better. The friendly staff and charming atmosphere added to the overall wonderful experience. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable stay in the area

The location is perfect and walking distance to main sites. The Japanese restaurant is also wonderful. The room is clean and spacious. However, data access and wifi is limited. Overall it was a very wonderful experience staying at Kyoto room

The location is no better, the Winchester Cathedral is opposite the main entrance, there is no parking lot, but the hotel provides a parking permit for a nearby parking space, and there is no charge. Breakfast can be delivered to the room for free, or it can be eaten in a rustic restaurant decorated downstairs. The rooms are too big, the solid wood furniture is also antique, very romantic, and the bathroom is spacious and comfortable. The perfect hotel, will definitely go again next time. Great hotel, short walk to town centre to see all the wonderful historic sites. Spa was lovely with sauna, seam room, relaxation room, jacuzzi and small pool. Dinner was delicious, room and bed comfy, slept really well. Wouldn't hesitate to use on any return visits.

Mengmeng's trip to the UK this time is a self-driving tour, so we went to some very niche attractions and checked in a very special five-star manor hotel. One of my favorite hotels is the Lanstern Hotel next to Southampton. It took us more than half an hour to shuttle through the hotel's corridors without even finishing. In addition, the hotel was hung with oil paintings of the Louis period, and a lot of antique furniture was placed. So I often watch European and American novels and movies always feel a little bit cold. During our trip to the UK, the breakfast we chose in each hotel was a full English breakfast. But only the black mushrooms in this hotel are particularly thick, probably picked from the nearby forest! Bacon and ham are not too salty. It ’s enough. I ate a CD! Dinner is delicious too! Pretty basic no frills hotel but quiet and clean with a good comfortable bed and well equipped shower room. Rooms are a good size. Easy to find. Good parking. Polite and helpful staff.

Location-wise the hotel is a good place to settle and you can enjoy the nature of quiet and peaceful. Recommend!
