You can enjoy the lake out the back door or walk to historic downtown and: enjoy a movie at the Oldham Theatre; visit the Old Jail museum; shop and eat at boutiques and restaurants on the square. Walk to the grocery market up the street for a bottle of wine and food supplies. Twin Creeks Marina is a very short boat, car or bike ride away. You can rent a boat for the day, enjoy dinner and drinks at sunset and sometimes live music. If you enjoy hiking, there are great trails at nearby Tim’s Ford State Park and Sewanee. *Pet Friendly* we welcome well-mannered pets. There is a crate available in the house and a nice dog pin in the backyard, if needed. Wonderful & Relaxing weekend. We absolutely loved our stay in Winchester. The house had everything we needed and more! The large deck and expansive outdoor seating areas were perfect for enjoying the beautiful views and fall weather. The bedrooms and bathrooms were comfortable and there was plenty of living space to move around and relax. We would love to come back.

Amazing Stay! Had such a great stay here. Owner was very responsive to any questions we had. They went above and beyond with the amenities provided. Location was great, lake access was on point, and we just really enjoyed every moment of our stay! Thanks for the memories!

Relaxing stay Our stay at this house was wonderful! It was very clean, stocked with essentials in the kitchen and bathrooms. It was very close to the wedding we were attending and great access to the lake! The owner was so kind, and responded quickly when I had questions before booking.

Great place for families with older kids. The house is very nice and the view is great. The amenities were great for older kids but not for a 3 year old. The house wasn't very safe for a young child. There is an elementary school directly across the street and the neigh boring properties were very close so there wasn't much privacy. We weren't able to use the yard or the water out back due to safety issues for our child. The pictures weren't very accurate in showing the very steep stairs that lead to the lake. They were slick at the time and the downward slant of some of the stairs caused some anxiety while carrying a child. That part of the lake was actually just a creek which wasnt really indicated in the description either. This place is great for older families who don't a mind lack of privacy. The owner was very responsive to our concerns and worked with us in order to cut our stay short because this wasn't the right property for our trip. The house is very nice, the beds were comfortable and the large shower was great. Many games for older kids were available but not much for young children.

Winter lake visit with family Our weekend visit was wonderful, but too short. The "lake house" was a perfect option. There was more than enough room and exceeded our expectations. We would be happy to stay again if we repeat our plans.

Thanksgiving family weekend. We rented the lake house for a thanksgiving weekend with our boys and their wives. This was the first time we did something like this for Thanksgiving. Such a wonderful time + lots of special memories made. The perfect getaway for a busy season. Forced us all to relax and enjoy quality time as a family. We will defintely be doing this on repeat.❤️
