A fantastic place to base out of while visiting Whiteman AFB, checking out the Katy trail, see the sites in a neat MO town or just needing an overnight rest stop. Staff was awesome. Room was clean and functional. Don't forget to love on Jango! He's a good pup!

This little motel is a perfect example of what a small town, locally owned motel should be. It is not impressive to look at from the outside but the exterior is neat and well kept. The rooms are small but very clean and everything works. The A/C is extremely quiet although it tends to blow on you which I find uncomfortable. Nevertheless, it cools things down very quickly so I just turn it off when it bothers me and then turn it back on when needed. Showers are hot with good water pressure. Cyclists from the Katy Trail and Rock Island Trail are welcome. Since the single rooms are small, (roughly 13x12), the bed is a full size rather than queen or king. That is perfectly fine with me. I believe the double rooms have two full size beds. The beds are comfortable and completely clean. No worries about bugs at all. My only issue is that, like most motels, the lighting tends to be dim which is makes it difficult for visually impaired people to see well. If you are traveling in the area, I highly recommend this motel. Aside from being a great value, it is better than many expensive brand name motels that I have stayed at. As a side note, some people complain that there isn't someone always at the desk to answer the phone. I stayed an extra day to rest up and observed just how incredibly hard the manager herself works to clean and prepare the rooms for the next guests. That is why the rooms are so nice and the prices are low. The manager is also a very kind person. I was injured on the Katy Trail shortly before arriving so I was badly bruised and a bit bloodied up. She brought me a bag of ice for my bruises, and hydrogen peroxide and cotton balls to clean up the cuts and scrapes. I really appreciated that. She even offered to drive me back to town to have dinner!

Room was clean and had everything we needed. This motel was unbelievably low priced, but we were shocked that it was so nice, yet very simple. The air conditioner worked well and was quiet. There was a TV and a small bathroom, but for the price, it was excellent.

The Windsor Crosswinds hotel is a a very pleasant place to spend the night when biking along the Katy Trail. The room were clean, beds comfortable, water pressure good, and an excellent air-conditioning system. I particular appreciate the kindness of the very nice lady at the front desk who volunteered to drive us to a good Mexican Restaurant about a mile away. It exceeded expectations

I have stayed at the Hampton, Parrkfield, and Howard Johnson hotels. This motel rates right with them if not over them. Very quiet, impressively clean, very friendly staff. I forgot my phone charger and front desk didn't hesitate to loan me one. I was even greeted by the "Paw Patrol" host of Crossroads Motel. I was extremely sastisfied with my 2 day stay and plan to return.v
