I didn't have chance to stay there as my family is sick so I can't arrive but they didn't reply anything for change and cancel. Very rude service.

Where do I start 🤦🏽♀️ Service was shocking the reception man didn’t even tell us times or where facilities were on arrival infact he barley spoken to us at all !! We asked him to book us a taxi for 7.15pm double checked with him several times that the time he booked was correct, he assured us yet left us standing for half an hour in the lobby knowing fine Well he had booked it for 7.45pm the taxi firm confirmed this and we missed the kick off for the rugby match we attended no apology just lies .. Staff also did not inform us the pool etc was out of order they allowed us to put our swimwear on and go over to be told from the spa staff!! The breakfast was shocking for 18 pound a head I couldn’t believe they were charging them prices I’ve been to many spa hotels and the breakfasts were much cheaper and so much nicer.. The hotel was abit run down windows were filthy, air dryer did not work in room and the window did not open!! The only positive was the 2 young gentleman at the bar and the spa staff that were very polite and friendly most of the other staff basically could not be bothered and looked like they didn’t want to be there.. Alcoholic beverages were so expensive 10 pound for a large class of wine 😫 never ever again I was so disappointed.

This is a castle hotel with a history of 800 years. The hotel service is warm and thoughtful, the sanitary conditions are good, the breakfast is rich and delicious. What's more worth mentioning is the environment of the hotel. In addition to the beautiful castle, the surrounding natural environment is even more pleasant.
