Staying at this homestay, the feeling is unforgettable. We arrived late, drove to pick us up, and gave us noodles made by ourselves, let us taste the special flavor, and also upgraded the room for us for free, so that the fatigue of the journey will dissipate instantly, the environment is comfortable and clean, and the breakfast is rich and nutritious. Make the day's itinerary very motivated, the sister of the hotel is warm and hospitable, the service is meticulous and thoughtful, making people feel warm and warm. We left the store, there are questions that we don’t understand, and we patiently answered them. Thank you very much. The whole stay experience is very pleasant. All the details are showing the intentions everywhere, and the traffic near the hotel is very convenient. It is very convenient to walk 100 meters to the bus station and go to various temples. Next time I come to Wutai Mountain, I will definitely come to this homestay. The homestay with heart is worth discovering by more people. I highly recommend it to everyone! ! !

Far from the central area of Wutai Mountain, a five-minute walk from Longquan Temple is very quiet and very clean. Toiletries are all available, and the hotel owner is responsive! The breakfast is too bad... It’s just a few steps out of the hotel, but the hygiene is worrying. Do you not wash the eggs before boiling?

Mount Wutai not only has a profound Buddhist culture, but also has beautiful natural scenery. Ruyishu B&B is conveniently located, only 100 meters away from the parking lot at the west gate of Mount Wutai. The decoration is unique and clean. Walking into the lobby, the fresh and elegant layout makes the heart of the journey settle down at once, and there is a feeling of going home. The proprietress is warm and kind, and treats every guest like a family member or friend. Take the initiative to introduce the scenery of Mount Wutai, travel guides and precautions. The tickets for the performance ”Double View of Mount Wutai” that I helped to book have particularly good seats. After the performance, they took the initiative to pick us up at the bus stop and take us back to the inn, which was very touching. The experience of staying in the B&B this time is very good. Next time I meet three or five friends to come to Mount Wutai again, I will continue to choose this B&B. Five-star praise 👍👍👍

On this trip, the most comfortable place to stay was the Yakeju B&B. Although it is newly renovated, it has no smell. The room decorations are clean and tidy, ranging from toothbrush and toiletry set to bed, quilt and pillows. Everything makes the stay very comfortable. There is a free bus stop at the door, which is very convenient to reach the central area. It is also a good choice for self-driving friends. The large parking lot is convenient for parking.
I have been booking accommodation on Ctrip and rarely leave reviews, but Yakeju must be rated 5 stars🌟. Special thanks to the store owner and the two little girls who helped us upgrade our room and brought our luggage to the room, which was very heartwarming. He also gave travel suggestions and was very patient with guests. It was my first trip to Wutai Mountain with my family and I was very happy to stay there for 2 days. There is no noisy sound here, and there is no clutter like accommodation on the first floor or second floor of a hotel in the central area. It's hygienic and clean. It's really good. I highly recommend this place.

This is very pertinent. This is one of those rare places where the owner never asked me to review it, yet I actively wanted to. The owner's service was exceptional. I asked a lot of questions before my visit, as it was my first time in Mount Wutai, and I had many questions, and the owner was very patient in answering them. Upon arrival, following the owner's instructions, I checked in smoothly. Inside Mount Wutai, we only bought tickets for the first day, which was very convenient. The owner also frequently provided us with shuttles to the scenic area's free bus stop, which was very appreciated. The street where the owner's hotel is located offers many affordable restaurants, and the snack street at Dailuoding is also affordable. Overall, my travel experience was incredibly smooth, exceeding my expectations. The owner's hotel has a second-floor terrace where you can sit and gaze at the surrounding mountains. It's a wonderful experience. The first-floor living room is a comfortable place for everyone to sit and eat. I'll definitely stay there again next year.

The room was comfortable and well-equipped. The owner provided a car to pick us up and drop us off, and was very attentive in providing tips on how to visit the sights. While the breakfast didn't have the wide selection of larger hotels, it was a buffet and quite filling.

As a passionate business traveler, I've visited dozens of B&Bs across the country, but this B&B stay was truly unforgettable, perhaps even the most memorable one to date. Amidst the increasing popularity of B&Bs, this one stands out and has received rave reviews for its own unique qualities, which are worth learning from and reflecting on. Here are some honest reflections from a guest's perspective: 1. The capable, ambitious, and thoughtful owner is one of this B&B's core strengths. The B&B owners and operators are incredibly warm, hospitable, kind, and sincere. They treat every guest like family, creating a warm and comfortable home. ”Feeling at home” was the strongest feeling I had during my stay. 2. The rooms are elegantly and stylishly decorated, yet dignified, with a sense of quality and taste. The courtyard's greenery, water features, and tea room create a sense of paradise—it must be a truly unique place for quiet retreat and self-improvement. 3. The B&B staff treats every guest with the warmth and hospitality of their hosts. The guy in charge of the shuttle service was really available at any time, taking everyone to the attractions and out to eat for free. The lady who cooked said that it was hot weather and made millet and buckwheat porridge for everyone, which was simply amazing. I don't like porridge, but I had two bowls... The only drawback is that this place is far from the main scenic area and has fewer supporting facilities, but it is precisely because of this that it is away from the hustle and bustle and has its own unique characteristics. If you need to eat or shop, you can take the No. 8 bus at the door, or the B&B driver will pick you up. It does not affect your normal life at all, nor does it affect the happiness index of travel. Strongly, grandly, and responsibly recommend 👍👍👍

Her room was completely odorless! There was absolutely no smell at all. The bed was perfectly firm and soft, and my back felt great. The white and yellow décor was spotless and bright! The owner and his wife were very welcoming and knowledgeable about the local area. Breakfast included ********* mushroom sauce, which was delicious! The owner happened to be stewing fish, and I had the pleasure of trying it. It was absolutely delicious! A must-stay!

The first time I came to Wutai Mountain, I booked three hotels before and after. I decided on this store the day before departure. There are three reasons: First, this is newly opened this year. The boss said that it has only been opened for more than a month. Everything is new and new. The whole house is smart. The decoration style is also new Chinese. The price of the hotel is star-rated. Second, the location is next to Longquan Temple. It can be reached in a few steps. Although Longquan Temple is not popular among the public, I like the niche. There are not many people. The boss helps us arrange fast food with the temple. We also arrange to drive directly to the back door of the temple. We can also play spring water. The spring water is very sweet. Third, the price, this price is really no one, Wutai Mountain any homestay will have to be hundreds of big, the boss said that some of the newly opened facilities have not been perfected, so the current price is the floor price, and will be adjusted in the future, but the boss said that our old customers can also enjoy this price in the future! The boss is mighty! Before leaving, the boss also sent us Taiwan dip sauce. This dipped steamed bun is great! I will stay here next time!

GGuest UserA really beautiful place to stay in the quiet mountains of Wutaishan. The hotel was tastefully appointed and the room I had was very spacious and comfortable. There was a Marshall speaker which was a really nice touch. The services were super attentive and personal: Manager Chen and his team were very friendly and highly accommodating. They made sure that I had everything I needed for my daily expeditions, drove me to all the temples and monasteries (within reasonable distances of course) that I wanted to visit every morning and picked me up in the evening back to the hotel. My stay there was so lovely that I extended it for two more days, which was still far from enough!
The hotel restaurant was also very nice. Food was of superior quality and the ambience was lovely.
GGuest UserThank you to the young owners and their parents for their hospitality during our short stay - for transporting my parents and I to and from restaurants for our meals and dropping us off at the main tourist attraction. Also special thanks to the 阿姨 for the delicious breakfast, her homemade mantou and pickles. Mrs Han was so generous in also helping us heat up leftovers takeaway from lunch for our dinner. The beds were comfortable. Initially the room was too warm but the young Mr Han helped to sort out the floor heating and heater so that the room was more comfortable. The recommended driver, Mr An, was very good, who brought us safely to Pingan.
LLailaiwangwangkanshijieI went to Mount Wutai by chance during the May Day holiday. I checked out many homestays and finally chose Tingshan. I added him on WeChat before I set off, and it was already past eight in the evening when I arrived. No matter what you need or when, the housekeeper Yin Yin will respond to you promptly. Along the way, from dinner time to the need to enter the mountain, the conditions of the journey were explained clearly and concisely, which made people feel at ease. I was even happier when I arrived at my accommodation. The entire homestay was beautiful and quiet, and the staff were very nice and answered any questions I had. We stayed in two room types, each with its own characteristics, but the ”courtyard” room at the back was more comfortable, especially when the temperature suddenly dropped and we turned on the fireplace, drank tea and chatted with our family, and looked at the distant mountains. It was very comfortable! Besides that, the apples in the room are really delicious and sweet! The black tea is also very delicious! After returning home, my father said that they would go next time too.
I wish Tingshan gets better and better! See you next time! ❤️
GGuest UserWholeheartedly recommend this place. It is clean and comfortable, with really modern showers/barhrooms.
Additionally - the real highlight - Liu Kaidi couldn’t have been more helpful in helping to organize our trip with us. Amongst other things she: answered all of our questions we had about our hike around Mount Wutai, gave us a route and map, was extremely responsive on WeChat throughout our time in the area. She also allowed us to leave bags during our hike free of charge, helped us book and catch our bus to Taiyuan, arranged our bus to the East Terrace at 3.30am at the start of our hike (waking us up) and gave us a fantastic food recommendation for dinner (even walking us to the restaurant).
Our stay would not have even the same without her help and we are so grateful. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else if I came to the area.
TTAN BOON LIANG BERNARDThis is our first time visiting Wutaishan and we stayed here for 5 nights. We came here by a direct bus from Beijing and the hotel picked us from the bus terminal in Wutaishan. The hotel driver was helpful and polite. We were greeted by 2 pleasant front desk ladies upon check in. We received a beads bracket gift and welcome fruit plate .
During the first day we had an issue with the air conditioning unit in our room and they changed our room the very next day.
The hotel is located just off a busy street with lots of restaurants and shops. There is also a shuttle bus stop just around the corner. There are many famous temples here all within walking distance from the hotel. There is a restaurant in the hotel and the food is delicious and we had a meal served in our room.
The lady boss (who we didn’t meet) provided us with information for our trip planning and helped us to book a land tour of the 5 mountains.
Lastly we would like to compliment the 2 front desk staff, the 2 cleaning staff and the driver for their enthusiastic attitude and service.
Overall we enjoyed our stay here.
GGuest UserVery Nice Hotel at Center of Taihuai Town, The Owner Are Good and Very Welcoming, The room Very Clean with nice and comfort bedding. Hot shower is good.
Many food and store available nearby. Early morning breakfast before pilgrimage, is not a problem, many affordable buffet arround at 15 RMB.
If you want to go for 5 terrace pilgrimage, the transport will come to pick at the hotel, because the location is nearby
The hotel owner also can help to book for the five terrace trip.
GGuest UserOt's a small boutique hotel . The room was large and new looking. It had a small living room with comfortable chairs. The bathroom is average size with good hot shower.
The location is very good with easy access to restaurants and grocery shops. Be aware that everything concerned with food is just that little bit more expensive than other cities in China. But I guess the cost of hauling everything up to wu tai shan is costly.
The hotel is also close to the central bus station.
The manger Tong Tian Tian was most helpful. She came to pick us up from the bus station, helped us to book a day tour of the 5 mountain temples. ( which had to be cancelled halfway due to a snowstorm on the mountain tops, where the main temples were.
She then helped us to get our partial redunds.
And then helped us to book bus tickets for onward travel to Datong.
She was really helpful. On our first day she dropped us off at a temple nearly 20 mins away.
So top marks for her customer service
The hotel is a little short on the normal facilities like gym , small room fridge in the room, a restaurant ( so no breakfast )
We enjoyed our 2 night stay at this hotel
AAnnie PBPMy room was spotless—so clean and fresh, and completely non-smoking, which was a huge plus. I loved relaxing in the bathtub while taking in the view.
Breakfast was a solid win with varieties of options, both international and Chinese. My favorite part was the freshly squeezed juice —such a nice touch! The Chinese restaurant downstairs was also great, especially the spicy chicken dish. If you like bold flavors, it's a must-try.
The hotel offers four mineral hot bath pools, which looked super clean. They do come at an extra charge, but they seem worth it if you're looking to unwind. Speaking of relaxation, the spa was amazing! The lady massager was incredibly kind, helping me with my lower back pain after a long week of traveling. She even shared a tip—walking backward to ease the pain!
The only downside was that during the spring season, there’s no air conditioning. If the room gets a bit warm, you’ll need to open the window for cooler air.
Overall, it was a great experience, and I’d definitely recommend this place!
HHanqing~yanIt feels so good to live halfway up the mountain. You can overlook the panoramic view. You can also watch the night view directly from the small terrace. The hot water is very good. The boss is also very helpful. He added a WeChat message in advance to let him know how to get there. In the morning, there was a little orange cat begging for food. Not bad👍Walking to the main temples, and at the bottom of the mountain is Dex👍
SSolo Traveler BainIt was a great pleasure to stay at this hotel. They provided anything I needed including heater, laundry service, help with the taxi booking and so many other things.
They even allowed me to stay the lobby to work on my project on my laptop when I had to check out and there were no places to work.
Location is nice, right next to restaurants and not far from main temples.
If you need help with climbing up all five peaks or just book a bus ticket, they will happily assist you.
Also, if you don’t speak Chinese, it’s fine as long as you use a translator. It might be a small challenge but overall communication was possible.
For a solo traveler, this was a great place to stay. Highly recommend!
