This grand hotel is set in an idyllic setting. We loved the environment and enjoyed walking on its grounds. The buffet breakfast has a great variety of food and it's fresh and delicious. This is a hotel to relax in, ideal for a real getaway.

Fantastic hotel, extremely clean and comfortable. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by the front desk, and when leaving they extended our check-out time. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel to everybody!

Beautiful resort hotle. Meticulously cared garden coveres 70% of the hotel ground. Excllent location. walking distance to "Mei Yuan" park and pedestrain path @ the wetland by the lake. Trees, flowers, forgs, toads, ducks and birds. it's a symphony of nature.
Both morning buffet and formal Chinese restaurant are very good. Full of seasonal ingredients, local delicacies. delicious. We ate all our meals in the hotel during our stay.
Definetely will come back for vacation next time.

Lovely hotel! Very clean and beautiful environment. Breakfast is fantastic, but in the busy season, you should arrive as early as possible for breakfast otherwise you may have a long wait to get in.

We were given an upgrade. From the room, we could see the lush greenery and the tower-shaped buildings on the green hills. Unfortunately, we couldn't see Taihu Lake; but the warm sunshine, fresh air, and sitting on the balcony were really enjoyable. The room was spacious, the pillows were comfortable, and the sanitary facilities were high-end. The service was very thoughtful and satisfactory. The doorman Yuan Yifeng took the initiative to take us to visit the back garden of the hotel, introduce the original school gate site of Jiangnan University founded by the Rong family, and the water tower that has been preserved to this day. I give it a five-star rating.
